    I always try to turn off things when they're not in use but my husband is notorious for leaving a room with the light on or tv on, so hopefully I can get him to change these bad habits come Monday.

    I do a lot of recycled projects and always turn off lights when not in use. Theyre off when they should be on too. I live like a vamp sometimes lol

    I got a soda stream and I have cut down a lot of waste from that alone also I am researching more ways to reuse and even recycling cloths my kids can't fit to others who can!

    We've always recycled aluminum cans. Lately though my husband and our grandson have been recycling scrap metal too. Great way to pick up some extra cash too ! Our egg shells get dried and smashed and then mixed in with the birds food so their eggs can be nice and strong with all the extra calcium. I sew and crochet also. The little threads and bits of yarn go into a mesh bag and hung out in the spring. The birds love it when building their nest and it's easier for me to find the nests when I see the colorful thread and yarns 'built in '' !

    We always recycle all paper products. We use every item of food that we have ever purchased and we cook it and eat and when we are to full for the left overs. We either keep them for leftovers the next day or we donate the food to someone that it can make a difference to them between be
