Like seriously why would someone give another person used make up as a gift lol Just grossed!
Used make up is the worst by far. Someone may not have the money to buy a nice gift, so even the regifted mug still says they thought enough to give you something. However, used make-up is not only gross, it's also a mecca for bacteria. pass.
I admit that I have done some re-gifting in my time, but giving someone used make-up is just unheard of! Yuck. The best thing to do with unwanted, used make-up is just to throw it out.
I'm in agreeance with the other posters, used make-up is super gross. I wouldn't mind something used so much, because, it is the idea that counts. Vintage thrift store finds have been some of the best gifts I've ever received. However, used eyeshadow or mascara is not vintage-y at all... it's just a harboring ground for the nasties.
I agree -- I could do something with all of the other items. But used makeup would have to go in the trash -- and I'd start worrying about the sanity of the person who gave it to me.
Anything used is just not right for any type of gift. Who would do such a thing??
I would rather they just made me a homemade card, than to get the worst gift listed, IMO, which is the used makeup.
Wow, they are all awful gifts - but really - they misspelled your name? I'm at a loss to why someone who doesn't know you enough to know how you spell your name - is even giving you a gift!
I think the bathroom scale would be the worst. It is the thought that counts so the towel at least they put the effort to have it monogrammed. The make up maybe they opened it or used it once and thought maybe you would appreciate it ( family or close friend) , the compost starter kit is a way to better the earth, the sweater maybe they thought you are so beautiful it would look great on you & the coffee mug is nice if you always use the same one. You gotta look on the bright side of things .
My mother used to give me her old Avon and the freebies she got in the mail or cereal boxes. Now those were horrible gifts!!
