Do you ever make your own jewelry?

What are some of the pieces you have made?

Yes, I make jewelry and give it to friends or sell it (19.8%)

I make jewelry sometimes, but only for myself (22.5%)

I don't make my own jewelry but I love wearing other handmade items (40.4%)

Only store-bought jewelry for me (14.5%)

I don't wear jewelry (2.7%)

    My friend used to have this great make your own jewelry store, but because of the economy she had to close it. I still make jewelry when I can.

    I have a round face and short hair, which makes it hard to buy earrings that accentuate both,so I started making my own and it proved to be profitable.I really enjoy creating new styles that are comfortable to wear .

    I love jewelry! I still have my junk jewelry from the 80's til this last year. I love my old braided yarn friendship bracelets (you can imagine my surprise when my sister handed me a box with all my old stuff from my whole life).

    Making my own jewelry is definitely an idea that I've been running around in my head lately... It would be a new hobby to try. Love to see some handmade jewelry on shespeaks!

    I used to do it all the time, but since moving last year, have been reluctant to pull it out back out. Think I'm going to do so as I have a HUGE box in my closet with probably $500 worth of supplies in it. I used to make jewelry and sell it at the local open air market on Saturdays. Think I'm going to try my hand at selling again.
