My first job for the summer was a receptionist at a local appliance store. It was just a summer job. Then after that I worked at our local movie theater for 3.5 years. I loved that job. I was able to meet lots of new people and it was fun. I sold tickets, concessions and cleaned out theaters. I enjoyed watching the movies after everything was quiet in the lobby.

My summer job was as a life guard. I loved it then, but now I'm dealing with all the sun damage to my skin :-(
