Osama Bin Laden was killed one-year ago. Do you think the world is a safer place now that he is dead?

Do you feel safer a year after Osama bin Laden was killed? Are you less concerned about future acts of terrorism that could hurt Americans?

Yes, he was a ring leader who inspired terrorism (25.1%)

No, there are still many terrorists who threaten our safety (74.9%)

I think that no matter what we do, who we take out of the picture...there will always be more coming along behind them..

I think it's great that he is out of the picture.. but it just made his minions" even more upset and there will be more acts of terroism because of it.

I agree with both April and Hiiyooitscat comments. There's always going to be others out there no matter how many we take out of the picture. When one leader is removed, their followers get even more angry and more determined to carry on with their 'mission', and another leader replaces the one that was removed. I am glad that Bin Laden was finally found and killed; he got what he deserved and hopefully is continuing to get what he deserves!

Seems to be that many people believe that there will always be some other terrorist that will step up and take the lead. I too think that. There are MANY people outside of the US (and I am sure many inside the US) that hate Americans, and would like to see us fail and be overcome. Its pretty sad. I am glad that the world is rid of him, but I don't think terror will ever stop. Not to mention the negative hype the media gives us that causes people to panic.....

Absolutely NOT. The biggest problem is the "president" tries using it to HIS advantage for re-election. Should we celebrate every year to commemorate when he was killed? NO! We should be glad that nothing more happened in comparison to 9/11.
