I received a bottle of Lancome DreamTone from SheSpeaks about a month ago to test and review. I was immediately impressed with the packaging. The mirrored sliver box is classy, and I felt like I was opening a gift. The glossy pink ombre bottle with a twist-up top is absolutely gorgeous and I was proud to display it on my vanity. The product itself is creamy, delicately scented, with just a hint of pale peach shimmer. (I used the number 1 shade.) Two pumps of this product covered both my face and neck, and the product dispensed quite well from the bottle with zero clogs after a month of daily use. The thing I loved most about Dream Tone is that it glides evenly onto the skin and does not leave any greasy shine. After a month of use, I can report a slight improvement in my skin tone. The skin on my nose that was darkened from wearing sunglasses has noticeably lightened. My pores seem smaller and I did not have any breakouts from this product. I thoroughly enjoyed using this product every day, and I will happily purchase Dream Tone from Lancome when this bottle runs out.

I might have been one of the few who didn't love Lancome DreamTone. I used DreamTone for 3 weeks hoping that it would lessen a bit of discoloration in my skin. After baby #2, I had more darks spots than I'd like on my face. But unfortunately it broke out my skin. I used Lancome Dreamtone twice daily. But, still my skin kept breaking out in large, painful pustules. {Not cool at my age.} I quit using it by the 3rd week. I may have noticed a small amount of help in discoloration from my first selfie and today, but not sure it is worth the steep price of the bottle and the breakouts. I also didn't like the pump of the Dreamtone products. It didn't dispense cleanly into my hand. It often got down in the grooves of the top. It leaves a bit of product on the nice shiny top and it is hard to get all cleaned out. I gave this product 2 stars simply because there is definitely more than a month's worth of product in this attractive bottle. So for people who this product works, which obviously there were many, it is a good amount that goes a long way.

I love this stuff! The smell is heavenly! I have red patches and nod brown spot on my face...I recently had a baby and pregnancy makes those things so much worse...but this is helping sooo much! I don't always have time to do my makeup with a new baby around and this product gives me the confidence I need! My brown spot is all but gone now and my red patches are significantly reduced! I will be recommending this to all of my friends!

I will continue to use this product because it has improved the dark areas of my skin in ways that Clinique's has not. my skin is brighter, more even and most of all looks good bare faced...I love the packaging and though it is expensive I am a consumer from now on!

At first I skeptical because after a week I did not notice any difference. But, at about 2-3 weeks after I started using this product I noticed that the small patch of dark spots I have close to my scalp had lightened up and overall my skin tone seemed more even. The best way to describe it is I feel prettier without makeup because my complexion is better. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family and even though it is out of my normal price range I am going to save up because a little goes a long way and it lasts. The scent is great, the product absorbs quickly and it does not leave my skin feeling greasy.

The packaging and the bottle is lovely and it shows that care was involved in the visual aspect. Unfortunately, I did not like the product. I really didn't like the smell. It wasn't strong or bad, I just didn't like it. I did not notice any effects on my skin, positive or negative. It just felt like I was putting on perfumy moisterizer. I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I've used this for the past few weeks and noticed some improvement in my skin however not as much as I'd hoped. It has not evened my skin tone or have an effect on my dark spots liked I'd hoped. While it did improve the feel of my skin and the way it looks it didn't do what I was expecting it to do. It is also very, very pungent. The fragrance is nice but not for something that goes on your face and that close to your nose. It tends to become a little overpowering after a while. I thought I would get used to the smell however I never did. It's not what I expected and would not necessarily recommend it for evening skin tones or dark spot however it does have some effect on the skins texture and suppleness.

I have been using this product for about 4 weeks now and I have seen slight improvement in my skin. I don't have a ton of dark spots or irregular coloring, but I can tell that my skin tone looks more even. My skin definitely felt better after using it and seemed to be more bright in appearance. I enjoyed the scent of the product and the packaging, too.

I really like this product. I totally love the packaging! The moisturizing properties of it are great -- it leaves my skin feeling smooth and silky. That's a big deal since I have dry skin. My skin tone appears more even after application, yet the "#2 medium skin tone" type is a little too dark for my complexion. It does however make a great base for my foundation makeup, helping to create a more natural appearance. Overall, it is a solid product that I would recommend to others!

I really loved how well this worked on my skin. The scent is light and pleasant smelling. Not over-powering smell. The product went on smooth and felt great on my skin. No issues with it not absorbing or leaving a 'greasy' feel. Went on well, felt great. It was very easy to apply and a little bit went a long way. I did notice my skin did look more smooth and clear after a week of using it. My other makeup went on over the product without any issues also, which was great. I'm honestly impressed with this.

I tried this product, twice a day, as directed. I didn't see much difference except after I put it on, my face would get rosy. I don't typically use many facial products, so perhaps my skin is too sensitive for this product. I do think the bottle is lovely. The product itself has a very subtle, almost powdery smell. It was not oily, but it did seem that it made my forehead break out a bit.

The first bottle I received had a malfunctioning pump and I couldn't dispense the product. My review is only based on using this product for 7 days since I recently received the second bottle. I had very high hopes for this product and I am a loyal Lancôme user, however, this product didn't live up to Lancôme's high standards. At 36, I have some minor sun damage and age spots, mild adult acne, and slightly dull skin. The product goes on very nicely and smells great. It leaves my skin feeling velvety and soft to touch. I haven't noticed any lightening of my dark or sun damaged areas. My mild acne may even be a touch more inflamed since using this product. I have used it morning and night. The one thing that I do really like is when using in the morning and then applying my makeup, my makeup goes on smoother and looks better. I'll continue to use the product and leave additional feedback after 8 weeks because I realize not many products will show benefit in 7 days. First off the scent is really pleasant. It is not overpowering at all. The design of the bottle is really unique, but I did have some problems with the pump. Now onto to the actual product. This really seemed to work on me. I have several spots of discoloration on my face, especially above my lip, and I have noticed the area is really evening out. I have tried several other products in the past and nothing has made this much of a difference. I think I will continue to use the product.

I will keep using the product but as of now, 5 weeks after starting use, I don't see a big difference in my skin at all. I like the packaging. The product goes on smooth and smells wonderful but I haven't been WOWed enough to make a big investment in it.

Bottom line for me...when your 45 your skin really begins to show some signs of aging, and I do have dark spots and uneven skin tone. After three weeks of use with DreamTone my dark spots have faded in half, and I am really hopeful that they will be completely gone by week 8. I have tried other dark spot fading creams with no results, that smelled awful, and irritated my skin. DreamTone smells fantastic, applies easily, and doesn't irritate my skin, and to me, it is well worth the higher price. Excellent product, and I will recommend it to others.
