It's just fine with diced onions and grated cheese but it cannot compare to the homemade variety. I will say that it is a BIG step up from another brand we tried. I usually get it for my daughter for after school or late night munchies.

I don't much care for instant chili but when I need it I refuse to buy any other brand. Hormel is by far the best canned chili out there and there are so many different recipes you can use it with. It really makes my job easy as head chef of the house. :)

this is a nice thick chili not watered down which means I can use it for chili cheese fries and not worry about to much sogginess. the flavor is ok not spicy at all so I find myself having to add to it to make it what I want

One of our favorite in-a-hurry meals is to add 2 or 3 cans of this to 16 ounces of prepared elbow macaroni, add a bit of butter or margarine, stir, and you have a hearty and quick main dish. This is great with a side salad, or other veggie of your choice and is very tasty and filling. YUM!

I never stray from Hormel chilli, well I should say I have tried one or two other brands in the past but none of them compared to Hormel.

I buy the Hormel chili without beans due to my stomach issues. I used to eat the chili with beans on my Hotdogs all the time. Now I just like the chili part. Very good product
