I love this mixer - I use it for everything, from raw cookie dough to whipped cream and it always does the job just the right way. Lots of accessories to interchange depending on what you're cooking - and it comes in a ton of colors, so it looks great in between use as well!

When my father brought my mother one of these back in the early 90s, She loved it. Now I use it all the time, even though its showing its age. Lot more easier to mix up doughs, egg whites and mashed potatoes, I just love it. Cant wait to get a newer on soon. Hopefully:)
KitchenAid is a legend. I love it, and have the black model. Looks classy on my kitchen counter and runs smooth like a cadillac! Great for making all kinds of great things to eat!
Worth every penny!
I tried to skimp with the Wolfgang Puck equivalent from HSN. Let's just say i returned it within a week. This is a great product, even if it does cost a fortune. I don't use it often, but i love it. And i love the fact that i could get it in my favourite colour (RED).
My husband and I have this mixer, it's great, I don't use it all the time. We have used it for grinding up meat, ours has many attachments to it.
I love my KitchenAid Artisan mixer. I have had it for 11 years and it is a beautiful red color. It has been the best kitchen purchase i've ever made. I use it all the time and it never fails me. Just love it and it was worth every penny i paid for it.
my mother bought one of these and we almost fight over who gets to use t when we have family dinners at her hose. I wish I could afford my own.
I recieved a KitchenAid stand mixer seven years ago as a wedding gift. I love it. In the seven years that I have had it I have never had any trouble with it.
My father bought this for my mother and lets just say she LOVES baking and everything. Even I enjoy baking when I get to use this thing, it cuts time and its easy. :)
This mixer is a kitchen must-have. It's sturdy, dependable, easy to use, a breeze to clean, and is far superior than the cheaper versions. I wouldn't buy anything else.
I love mine! I use it a lot when I bake and of course when I'm whipping up a batch of mashed potatoes.
I want one of these so bad, but the budget isn't letting me at this point. I have a Kohl's version, nice, but weak.
I would like to have one of these. Have heard good things but never used one. Too expensive for me.
I purchased the Artisan Mixer and fell in love with the Kitchen-Aid line. That same year at Christmas, my husband surprised me with the Professional 600 series in Dark Pewter. I gave my Artisan one away and kept the beast that yields two to three batches of cookies at a time. No matter which dough you throw at it, the machine (and motor) can take it. Cheesecakes are a breeze and I have not experienced any problems or questionable noises. I can depend on my mixer and now a days this is an impossible statement to make about any product on the market. I also notice that the final product comes out better because I am not overworking the doughs. I feel brave in trying new receipes because I have the tools to do it with. We grind our own meats and I must say that the first time we mixed our own ground-beef, it made me wonder what I was buying and consuming before. The color of the meet was so bright (alive) and had a deep red color. The meat goes further since it is all not fat melting away and we feel better health wise. This mixer changed our eating habits for the better and I am so glad my husband spent the extra money. Kitchen-Aid will also have promos with purchases, so always compare what is running at Macy's, Williams Sonoma, ect., before buying. It always helps to get an extra bowl and spatula with purchase.
I actually rate it higher than 1 star. I use my mixer for so many things !! From bread to cookies to you name it it's more than worth the money to me. I give it 5 stars.
I just got one about 2 weeks ago. I have been wanting one so badly and finally found one at a great price. I love it. It makes things so much easier. I highly recommend getting one.
this is worth every penny. my husband and i were given one as a wedding present and it is used almost daily. i would recommend this to any and every one.
I love this mixer! i got it from lowes a few weeks ago for 150 plus a 30 dollar mail in rebate! they had a mis-print for 150 im so glad i got it!
I JUST BOUGTH ONE OF THIS MIXER LASTA YEAR, I LOVE THE MACHINE.
I have had my kitchenAid mixer for 17 years...I love it...still works like a charm, and I bake all the time!!!!
I love my kithenaid mixer. I started watching Martha Stewart last year and had to have the mixer she was using. It has benn worth every penny!
I have had mine for about 3 years and I love it and use it all the time!
IT COME PRETTY HANDLE IN THE KITCHEN, AND ITS A GOOD MIXER FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING
I loved this mixer so much that I bought an extra bowl and some of the attachments to it. I REALLY love the pasta attachment, and the slicer/shredder attachment is VERY useful for dealing with large batches - cole slaw for a company picnic or large batches of cucumbers for canning). It's worth every penny I paid for it.
Well, when I read the "pros" and "cons" I had to laugh because it stated that one of the "cons" of this mixer is that is pricier than a hand mixer. I absolutely LOVE being able to walk away and go into another room and about other business (multi tasking) while my mixer is making our family delicious homemade food!!! It is definately worth the "pricier than a hand mixer" to me and not a "con" at all!

I debated buying this mixer due to the price but I have to say it's been worth every penny. I bought mine 5 years ago and it's never let me down. Saves me a ton of time in the kitchen and even my husband will help cook if he gets to use it. =)
I do not have this exact model but I have a Kitchen Aid Mixer and love it! I got it as a wedding gift and couldn't have been more excited. This is so useful to me. This is the extra hand us women have been asking for for centuries! I even have a few attachments for it like the pasta maker. I think I may have my mixer running almost every day and have never had any problems. I am hoping that this mixer is going to last me a very long time and I sure it will because it is quality. Plus, Kitchen Aid/Whirpool is one of the biggest employers in my area and I feel like I am supporting local economy but using their products.
My aunt has this in "Mango" ... it's not only a great appliance but really livens up her otherwise pretty sedate kitchen -- it's kitchen art! Plus Kitchenaid is a legend ... I think of using my mom's every Thanksgiving for everything from mixing pie filling with the traditional mixer to making fresh cranberry relish with the chopper/grinder attachment -- a bag of fresh cranberries, an orange (whole), a lemon (also whole) and sugar ... mmmmm.
I can't wait until my old 30 y/o Oster Kitchen center dies so I can buy one of these. LOL
i MEANT TO SAY 10 STARS IF i COULD NOT ONE. tHIS ITEM IS THE BEST THING EVER INVENTED FOR MY HOME. IT IS ON MY COUNTER DAILY AS I USE IT ABOUT 2 TIMES WEEKLY. MY DAUGHTER GOT ONE FOR HER SHOWER FROM ME. SHE USES ABLUT 4 TIMES A WEEK.
I like stand mixer especially Kitchen aid products
I have the 50 year edition of the kitchen aid. Before that, I had my mother's passed down to me. I use it for everything and highly recommend it as a part of the kitchen tools if you cook or bake at all.
I have the professional grade mixer, and though I love it, you can only move the bowl up and down. The ones where you can lift up the mixer head makes it so much easier.
I love this mixer! It's perfecting beating everytime. THe selections of colors are fantastic. It's pricey but well worth the money. A great investment.
I splurged and bought this mixer for myself. It's one of the best investments i've ever made I love it. Saves time and agrivation in the kitchen. I won't use anything else.
My husband surprised me with this last year before Christmas. So it would be easier on me to make Christmas cookies. I think there was a hidden reason behind it.....that I would probably make more. I could not live without it now.
I love this mixer! My husband suprised me with it before Christmas a few years ago because he knew I wanted one. It was the best gift. I can't say enough good things about it. Love it !!!
Love it! Love it! Love it! I got one for a bridal shower gift 5 years ago and use it often. The best gift ever. Now that I'm taking a cake decorating class I use it multiple times a week. Never had a problem with it.
i don't have this model. it's just to expensive for me right now. last year my hubby bought me the walmart stand mixer for christmas. i used it a few times when making cookies it just dosen't have the power i need..........someday maybe
I love this mixer!! Currently I use my Mothers every time we visit but, I have asked Santa to bring me one for Christmas for our home. Can't wait to bake away. It is well worth every penny!
i dont have one riht now but i will' i can't wait.
My mother has this mixer and LOVES it. I wish we had one. My daughters are all learning to cook right now and it sure could speed up the process. lol
it looks awesome..wish I had one.
I have this mixer and it is AMAZING except for the fact that you can't pull it back to remove the bowl!
I always wanted one of these but, did not know if they were good or not. But, thanks to the reviews this is on my list of things to get in the near future.
I love mine. My husband bought me and my mother in law one. We've both used it. It's great for all sorts of recipes.
If you get your hands on one you'll love it. It's great.
I absolutely love my Kitchen Aid. My mother had purchased it for me for Christams one year after she was making our famous chocolate chip cookies and how easy it was, she said to my father we have to get her one!!! WIthout a Kitchen Aid your kitchen is just not complete!
I have had several mixers and usually they burn up while making thick doughs such as bread or even cookies. My husband bought me the Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer for Christmas last year and I love it. It will do any thing I need from whipping creme to bread dough. It's well worth the price.
Kitchen Aid makes a "killer" mixer. I have had my stand mixer for a lot of years. the newer models come with the cover to protect you from flying flour! What a nice addition! If I ever have (had) to buy another it would be a Kitchen Aid. Cost doesn't matter with a product like this, it's worth the price! And, the new colors are fun too. when my daughter got married recently I bought her one.
Love my Kitchen Aid mixer. Would not trade it for the world. It does everything from looking good on the counter to making cooking and baking easier.
I have one and love it I bought from amazon about a year ago.Great appliance!
I can't imagine making home made bread or pizza dough without this! I just love it! It is really going to come in handy with holiday baking coming up.
great style and great features, do like the flexibility and ease of use of this machine. the variety of uses is a great time saver and a savings of my food bill.
I love my KitchenAid! It's so easy to use!!! You definitely need one if you enjoy baking.
I have an older Kitchen Aide Stand mixer and love it. I've had it for years and it will do anything I have put to it. The new ones have such neat features that I almost hope the old one dies so I can get a new one!
Upgraded to a Professional 600 (Black), but the Artisan is a wonderful mixer.
I decorated cakes for over 10 years, I wouldn't own anything but a Kitchen Aide, they are well-made, reliable, and get the job done.
I received the professional series for my 30th birthday. Since I was scheduled to have my hysterectomy the day after my birthday, I was not allowed to eat anything at all. However, that surely didn't stop me from trying out the mixer of my dreams! I used it to mix up all my ingredients for a meatloaf I was cooking for my boyfriend. He said it was delicious. After that, I have used it for everything that requires mixing. The bowl size makes it perfect for making homemade dog "cookies" and anything else that would ordinarily be difficult to mix otherwise. I think I may actually love my mixer more than my boyfriend...don't tell!
My mom has one and it is almost 30 yrs. old and still runs as smooth as it did the day she bought it. I am really looking forward to getting this for Christmas.
My husband knew I wanted one of these for ages and bought me one for Christmas a few years ago off EBay. I love it!!! I make lots of cookies as gifts and cakes for kids birthdays and there is no recipe this mixe can't handle.
hi i dont have one but i would love to try it i really love to cook and would love to text it
I DO NOT OWN A MIXER LIKE THIS ONE. I USED A HAND MIXER WHEN I BAKE.WOULD LOVE TO TRY ONE.
i had this mixer given to me by a neighbor wben they were moving out and it is an excellent one! it runs great and the beaters release rather easily! i love it!
My Mother gave me one for Christmas about 5 years ago and I LOVE IT!
Got this mixer several years ago, ahving arthirtis and trouboe with hands this was the best gift , it does all the work for me
I have a different model of Kitchenaid mixer, but absolutely love it. It is probably close to 10 years old now and I cannot imagine baking without it. I burned up three other brands of stand mixers before getting the kitchenaid. If something happened to this one I wouldn't even hesitate to spend the money to replace it.
LOVE my Artisan!
I use it at least once daily, and find it's motor powerful enough for anything I've thrown at it (or IN it, as the case may be!), including anything up to two loaves of whole wheat bread at a time!
I'd recommend it for the price, by far!
I LOVE my KitchenAid mixer. I'll never use another brand. It's powerful and does such a great job on everything! I recommend it to everyone that mentions they need a new mixer.
I love the sleek look of this model. The color is awesome.
ITS THE BEST I DON'T KNOW I DIDNT BUY IT BEFORE WELL WORTH
I can't do without my kitchenaid.
I had mine for a couple of years and when the holidays are here it is a life saver. love it
my mom also has one with all the attachments she uses it a lot but it is heavy but she loves it
Me and my fiance' bought one about a month ago at Kohls for $130 I think, of course we got great discounts because he works there and it was a display model. We really love it though, it beats having to make things by hand and you can make more batches in less time.
I love my kitchen aid
Best mixer on the market! Years of use and my mixer still looks like new!
I like the mixer but its a lot of money and hared to spend when u have a baby at home
GREAT GREAT GREAT! I absolutely love it. It can be used in so many ways.
Way too expensive for what I use it for.... I guess if you're a gourmet cook, you might feel the need. Totally unnecessary for me.
MY MOTHER HAS ONE WE USE IT ALL THE TIME, IT'S GREAT FOR CAKES, MIXING DOUGHS OR WHATEVER YOU WANNA DO AND IT REALLY KEEPS THE MESS TO A MINIMUM.
Worth every penny! I love it soo much, not to mention that I got an awesome, awesome deal on it!
I love mine!! I know I'll kill the motor soon, since I use it ALL the time. I bought mine for a steal (brand new) off of craigslist!
Ok, am I the only one that has to throw a towel over this machine when in use? It spits out flour everytime I use it. I've had batter fly out too. Also, the thing that sits around the bowl while in use is annoying! The bowl has a divet in the bottom that if the ingredients are in this divet they do not mix properly. The motor is quiet and runs great...but I would love to buy a Sunbeam!
I love my KitchenAid. I don't have the Artisan, I went for the next "lower" model - I think it is a slightly smaller motor and there were no color choices. These are AWESOME!
I just finished using it to make a pumpkin pie. I love it. It works for cookies, pies, cakes, mashed potatoes, you name it. It looks great on the counter (I have Pistachio) and works like a champ.
I love the KitchenAid mixers - some things I still prefer to do by hand, but this simplifies a lot of baking recipes
I just upgraded to a Cobalt Blue Artisan from the classic model. Awesome investment.
I love love love my Kitchenaid. I have the pink version and have used it many times since I received it from my In-Laws last Christmas. It may seem pricy, but for something that is going to keep going for years, it's well worth it.
oh my Kitchenaid. Love at first sight! :) of course, they came out with the pink breastcancer version 6 months later, so i wish I had that one for the color, but I love my mixer. wonderful mixer that I expect to have for the life of my kitchen.
Love, Love, Love my Kitchenaid mixer!! Don't know what I would do without it.
I have this in red and I love it. I use it to mix everything all the time!
I love this mixer. It makes cooking with it so enjoyable! I have the ice cream maker for it & it makes wonderful ice cream very easily.
I will never, ever go back to using a regular mixer again. I actually don't mind baking as much now.
this is really a great product, I do not presently own one but have use the mixer and really loved it becaue I enjoy baking cakes
this is really a great product, I do not presently own one but have use the mixer and really loved it becaue I enjoy baking cakes
i have always wanted one of these. glad to see te reviews are very positive
This is an awesome mixer. I use it all the time to make cakes, breads and all sorts of things. I have to admit it is a bit price. After a couple of uses though you can see why. It is built like a tank and will last forever if you take care of it. :)
Love kitchen aid mixers, but I think the Professional series is better than the Artisan (even though the Artisan does have the flip-back feature).
My Mother has one, not sure how old it is, but she had it when I was a child and still has it and uses it. I have many memories of her mising up all kinds of goodies, especislly this time of the year. This is on my wsh list this year for Christmas, sure hope to get one. I have the Kitchen aid hand mixer for a long time now and it is the best. I burned three hand mixers out (cheap brands) when my Husband brought me home the Kitchen Aid, I love it.
I've had this mixer since 1991 (when my son was born). Here it is almost 17 yrs later and I still love it as much as I did when I got it. I use it frequently. It is awesome for dough, cookies, you name it. A zillion % better than a hand mixer. And w/ the name Kitchen Aid, how can you go wrong. Although I'm not parting w/ this anytime soon, I'd love to try out one of the newer models to see how it compares.
One day I will be able to afford this awesome mixer!
I have one and I love it. Its not something I use everyday, but its great for those jobs that require a bigger mixer. It is easy to use and works great, not to mention it looks nice too. I have the silver one. I am hoping to one day try some of those attachments that work with it.
I boght one for my husband on our 15th anniversary. He loves to make homemade bread, and once commented that it would be great to have a kneading machine. The kitchenaid, has such a feature, and it is marvelous for those with arthritis who find it difficult to knead bread.
I love this mixer! I have a pink one (my favorite color, of course!) I find excuses to use it. I'll bake a random batch of cookies just to use the mixer. It does a beautiful job.
I have been married for 6 years and my mother STRONGLY encouraged me to register for one. At her insistence I did, and boy am I glad! To be honest, I didn't use it for probably the first 3 or 4 years of our marriage, but I am constantly hauling it up out of our cabinets because it does such an awesome job. I can't imagine ever needing a new one -- I just drool over all the attachments that you can purchase. Hmmm .... just need a new excuse to register again! :)
I have this mixer and I absolutely love it!
As a devoted baker, I thought I'd love this. But I hate adding flour and other dry ingredients, so very, very awkward. I ended up giving this to my sister and buying a basic Sunbeam stand mixer. Not nearly as much power, but a whole lot less aggravation.
I could not live without my Kitchen Aid mixer! I use it everyday! It's perfect for whipping up a batch of cornbread and makes the smoothest, fluffiest mashed potatoes. I cannot imagine going back to using a hand mixer.
Oh my god, I love this thing! It is amazing, I use it all the time. I purchased one for my step mother for christmas, because she is always telling me how much she loves mine. Since I do all the holiday dinners it comes in so handy. I have told a few of the mothers from my group about this and Sandi went and bought one, just because I couldn't stop talking about how great mine was.. I thought that was awesome. She called me last night and told me she had gotten to use it for the first time and was so happy that her hubby had let her buy it. I think she loves it as much as me!
I got my mixer when my oldest grandson was a year old. He'll be 17 on his next birthday, and my KitchenAid is still working just as well as the day I got it! It's definitely a quality product, that delivers over and over again. With the holidays fast approaching, I just know that I won't be disappointed as I prepare all of my family's favorites once again.
Everyone should own a KitchenAid mixer. Couldn't live without mine! Don't hesitate!
I have been using one of the mixers for years now. I love to bake and this is the only mixer i would ever use. The one we have we got in the early 90's and it runs just like a new one does.
I received this for Xmas two years ago, and love it. It replaced a "cheapy" mixer that was only capable of mixing cake batters, and let me tell you, making massive quantities of cookie dough and bread dough (for pizza) has never been easier. I can see why they are so expensive, but they save a lot of time by allowing you to make larger batches and have less "hands-on" approach to mixing ingredients. No more "club hand" for me!
I had fond memories of my grandmother's KitchenAid mixer, 30 years old and still going strong, when I purchased mine. The mixer exceeded even my highest expectations. It has a classic look, strong motor and solid body. It mixes heavy doughs thoroughly and whips beautifully. Because it's a stand mixer, the user can do other things while the mixer does its work. A stand mixer, complemented with a good hand mixer, are the perfect cook's combination. With the KitchenAid reliability and durability, the mixer will last for years, giving the Artisan excellent value for the money. The biggest negative is my family now wants me to bake more.
This rocks! I love it I use my moms all the time . Maybe I will get my own under the tree this year!!!!!
I recieved mine as a Christmas gift from my husband years ago. I have the standard white. I love it the family does to because it enables MOM to make double batches of whatever sweets they have asked for. It is a bit costly but well worth it.
My daughter has one of these and I've always wanted one for myself. When she bakes this machine makes it seem so easy.
kitchen aid is the only brand my granmother used she said any thing else was a cheap version
I use one of these at work quite often, nothing works better to mix up any kind of recipe. Ilove it!
Love it! Especially the attachments! I don't have to have 100 different appliances now, this mixer can do it all!
I received mine as a gift form my husband 2 years ago. I don't know how I lived withour my Kitchenaid before taht. I love it . It is so easy to use and to clenaup. I have made breads, cookies ,cakes you name it. It makes the lightest meringue I have ever seen or tasted. I have purchased several different attachments . I have the grinder, ice crusher , shredder and pasta maker so far. I want more and will get them over time.
Amazon is putting one of these on sale for $69 to randomly selected customers. I have all my fingers & toes crossed Im selected, because I am dying to have one of these.
I am by no means a whiz in the kitchen, but I still would love to have one of these. It would make me more adventurous for sure, with all the wonderful attachments.
If i cant get one this time around, I will have to save my pennies for one since the budget doesnt allow $300 for it right now.
I envy all of you lucky ladies!
I grew up in a house where a KitchenAid mixer was a main stay to prepare meals, holiday treats, cakes & pies, and just about anything else Mom would fix.
When I got one with all the attachments, it was so easy to use and start all the same traditions for my home.
Life without a KitchenAid mixer would be no life at all.
I have never understood what all the hype is on these mixers. They are way overpriced! What happened to the good old fashion ways of doing things.
I dont own a mixer. Sure do wish I could afford this one. It looks like a really nice one. And from most of the coments it sounds like it. Maybe Santa will bring me one :)
I want one sooo badly! Hopefully Santa will bring it this year.
I have the smaller KitchenAid stand mixer, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Well worth the money spent on it!
i was given this machine for my wedding, and i love it! It makes cooking and baking so much easier, i honestly dont know how i could have survived my first married year without it (more time in the kitchen i guess. I love the fact that you can get different attachments for it making it very versitile. LOVE IT!!!
My mixer was my grandmother's and I can remember her using it quite frequently as she was a true baker. I use it (although not as frequently) and it works perfectly after all of the years! I have the classic white one and love the other colors that they come in now. Maybe one day if it breaks, I will be able to upgrade the color but I wouldn't give it up for anything!
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
I was so lucky to receive one for my Birthday recently. I had always wanted one. I am totally in love.... It is so wondeful, I have been making breads, cakes and cookies getting ready for the holidays and it is so much better than using my hand mixer... I love this mixer and it is so worth the price if you are a person that likes to bake....
Love it, I can use this thing for all kinds of stuff. I use it more all the time. It seems I look for new things I can use it for almost daily because I live to use it so much. It is very easy to clean too. I can whip up cookie dough in a couple minutes. I can do potatoes or just about anything you need. This way your hand doesn't get so tired and it is all together in one neat bowl.Less mess is great for me.
I can't imagine life before the mixer! It is wonderful to have and anyone who cooks or not should have one!
I have tried many different mixers and like this the best. Kitchenaid makes a great machine. There are wonderful attachments available too. I can still remember the first time I made bread using the Kitchenaid. It was thrilling; kneads dough really well. No matter what level of skill you have in the kitchen, a Kitchenaid will help you be even better.
I just recently got one as a wedding gift and I love it!!! I will never use a hand mixer again!
Love my KitchenAid mixer. The vivid colors make awesome kitchen accessories, and the attachments and immense power of this thing have helped me with many a meal. Stirs through the chunkiest cookie doughs with effortless ease.
One of these days, after I move into my new house next month, maybe I'll get one of these. That would be awesome!
my friend has this product and she told is the best thing ever...i dont have one but i know from my friend is great...
Don't have one wish I did.
I wanted one for years and I got one about 5/6 years age and I love it! Would not trade it for anything ....... I love cooking but it just makes it that much easier in the kitchen and I use it for all kinds of things its not only for breads and cakes.
I received one as a wedding shower gift almost 2 years ago and it is wonderful. I just made eight different kinds of christmas cookies yesterday and can only remember how many hand mixers I burnt up years before. Unfortunately, I was lazy and left the whipping beater to soak overnight and it did pit the metal the first time I used it so its no longer perfect but I wouldn't give it up for anything!
I believe that when you buy KitchenAid you are paying for quality. Of course it's an investment, but if you want a mixer that will keep working no matter what your mixing, then it's worth it. We love using the attachments that come with our mixer.
these are nice. my friend has one of these. i have borrowed it a few times. unfortunely its a little pricey for me right now. one day (hint hint) to my fiance for christmas. hmm fat chance in him reading this huh?
I wish I could put mine to full use! It's a beautiful purply/blue Professional Mixer. Makes my small, dreary kitchen look quite sophisticated. LoL
KitchenAid has the best kitchen appliances ever. No kidding. It is quite expensive, but they are worth every penny because they are built to last, unlike most appliances that you have to buy anew one every three years or so. And the mixer is no different. My grandmother has had hers for about 6 years, and it is still good as new.
I had always wanted this mixer and finally had the money to buy it, I bought it online at kitchen aid last year with a few specials, I dont knwo why byt it dont work very well..I was disappointed , It dont mix well with the sides of the bowl and leaves pockets of ingredients , I read the book and tells of a screww to adjust the hook to skim the sides of teh bowl, but just dont seem to work;/ I will continue to try and work on it thou
I am getting one for Christmas and can't wait to use it.
I have a bright red one and it looks so cheery on my counter! It does a great job and I have no complaints.
just couldnt do without it..has never disappointed me
Fantastic mixer. Easy to use, so many add ons! One downfall...very heavy to move.
I would LOVE to test this one out.. My mixer got lost while moving recently and I needed a more heavy duty mixer for all my baking anyway.
This is the best mixer I've ever had. I'm not afraid of burning this one up with mixing cookie dough.
I use it for all my cooking and baking needs. I love it.
I love this mixer. My husband bought me this mixer and then after my mom used it, my dad went out and bought her one also. It makes preparing baked goods alot easier and it really saves on making messes. Erica
this is the best product you could ever have
I always look at these when I go shopping. I love how it stands on the counter. Also to be able to not mix things by hand or with my cheaper mixer would be much easier on my arthritic hands. Last Christmas I almost got one, but my husband said it was too expensive. I bought a cheaper model and hate it. I am hoping I can find one on sale this year so he will reconsider.
I love my KitchenAid! It is one tough mixer.
I love my Kitchen Aid! I use it with everything from making pancake batter to even mixing meatloaf. The different attachments make it very versatile. Also it free's up your arms to do other things. I highly suggest you get one. You'll love it!

Best product of its kind-wish I had purchased the unit much earlier. It makes mixing so much easier and I love all the various attachments for it. The meat grinder is a favorite of mine for doing my own sausage.
I have the "classic" kitchaid stand mixer that I bought from Walmart 7 1/2 years ago. Amazingly enough I've noticed the price has gone up $50 since then! I use mine at least 2 times a week, and have considered "upgrading". When we bought mine Consumer reports said that the classic was the best buy as the higher end ones had the up/down gadget with the bowl that was hard to manuever. I wondered if that had been perfected? I am now doubling most of my recipes (I have 4 hungry boys to feed!) and I think the motor, although strong, is really struggling to keep up the momentum. It has 250 watts. I guess I will have to upgrade when I start tripling my recipes! I make pizza dough at least once a week and a ton of cookies, homemade bread. I also have attachments that I use, I'm assuming those are compatable with all the models (for instance the pasta maker). Thanks everyone! Hopefully my comments will help someone else out and someone can provide me with info on the models I'm interested in!
I have a smaller version than the Artisan, but I love my smaller KitchenAid mixer. It blends even the toughest and biggest batches without the motor sounding like it is getting overtaxed. My mom had a different brand that I used when I lived at home, but when I got my Kitchen Aid I truly appreciated the quality more!
I got this mixer last Christmas, and I love it! I am hoping to get some accessories as presents this year. My husband said if he had only known buying this mixer would inspire me to whip up lots of homemade goodies, he would have gotten me one a long time ago.
I have had mine for about 5 years now and LOVE it. I would not trade it for anything. It works great for all mixing jobs big and small. And best of all, it looks great on my countertop!!
I received one for Christmas last year and was very surprised. I absolutely love it, but it is heavy and I have to put it away each time for lack of kitchen space. I never imagined owning one, but have always looked at them. The possibilities are endless when it comes what you can use them for. I do struggle a bit with which attachment to use for different things I am making. When mixing up batter, you are supposed to use the wire attachment, but it doesn't seem to get all the ingredients mixed up from the bottom of the bowl. Anyone else have trouble with that?
I got one of these for a wedding present 6 years ago and I still use it almost everyday! I love it! I really don't think I could live without it. You can mix anything in there and it is easy to clean. Also made by a company that has awesome customer service. They just want you to have a quality product!
I HAD to buy myself one of these after I got married (with wedding present money). It has truly lived up to it's name and is SO durable, I feel as if I will be able to pass it on to my daughter.
I've used Kitchen aid Mixers for 30 years. When my kids were little I used it several times a week , sometimes sevsral times a day . you can use the grinding attachment to grind roasts into hambuger so you know its safe to eat. At one time I had a Hobart, and there have been times I had both running at the same time. I still have them but they need repairs.10 years ago when I was working I bought each of my kids one for Christmas. I really miss having mine around.
I have been cooking since I was a child and ALWAYS wanted one of these, I finally got one on my 35th b-day and I LOVE IT as much as I thought I would!!!
I received an older model as a gift from an aunt and it is the best thing I have ever gotten. Mixes expertly, food processes wonderfully. Nothing makes me happier in the kitchen.
I love this mixer. My 3 year old daughter and i like to bake, so we use it several times a week.
I love my kitchenaid mixer it is always ready on the counter when I need it.
KitchenAid products are the best. This mixer, while somewhat expensive, is well worth the price. Why buy some other inexpensive mixer if you aren't going to like it? You won't go wrong with KitchenAid. I often go in with other people any buy this for wedding gifts.
I absolutely love my mixer. It's the easiest that I've ever used and I love the coordinating colors. It was one of the best wedding gifts we got that I still use regularly.
I've owned one of these for about two years now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! It is definately worth the money and you will never use another mixer again.
I could never use another mixer again!! These are pricier then your average mixer but well worth the money spent and they last FOREVER!!
Worth every cent! If you enjoy cooking this mixer is a necessity.
I love all the positive reviews on this product. I don't do recipes that often. Maybe if I had one of these I would, since everyone says it makes cooking so much easier. I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on this product. For now, I'll take your word that this is a great product. Maybe I'll get one someday as a gift.
This product must be spectacular with all the positive reviews. I will keep my eyes peeled for a great sale on this product and then scoop it up!
I received this for a bridal shower gift and thought I would never use it, but it is just so cool to use it makes me want to find new recipes just so I can use it! How did I ever survive using a mixing bowl and a wisk!??
I receieved this as a gift last Christmas - wouldn't trade it for the world! While it is expensive you can find deals that include extra attachments or discounts off the price. Don't know how I baked with out this machine!
My husband so wants htis mixer , he is the baker in our family.
With all the holiday baking I've been doing lately, I am really glad to have my KitchenAid mixer. I had put mine in storage because I really didn't have the counter space for it. Then my hand mixer died and I hauled my stand mixer out again. I had forgotten how much easier my cooking chores are with this thing! I am making a point of finding space for it in my kitchen again.
This machine saves my hands when I make dough for the holidays for cookies and other pasties. Mine is about 5 years old and is in perfect condition. I use it at least 20 times a year.
I love this mixer. It is on my counter and I use it on a daily basis. The only down fall is the weight so if you do not have counter space to store it it could be a hassle. Well worth the price!
i cant imagine making cookies with out my mixer, this has become a permanent fixture in my kitchen, i love this i even bought one for my mom who has arthritis because this is much easier than mixing by hand but just dont stop at mixing cookie or cake batters, i have even used it to mix up hamburger and spices for meat loaf
I got this mixer for Christmas and I put it to work that very day! It made cooking this year a breeze and I look forward to making things for years to come with my new mixer!
I use a friend's and plan to buy my own as it is so versatile and easy to use. The brand is well respected and lasts forever. It is very wellmade.
These mixers rock! I bake a lot, I have even won first prize in a competition. All other mixers pale in comparison. You deserve the best..what are you waiting for. Get one in that lime green color!
Love mine! I recieved it as a gift and made Banana Nut Bread for Christmas. It purrs, is a snap to clean and looks great sitting on my counter. I'm in the process of converting recipies I make to my KitchenAid.
I use this mixer atleast once a week. It holds a prized place in my kitchen and I feel lucky to own one! It makes whipping cream, making cookies, and cakes so much easier!
Kitchen Aide rocks! I love my mixer, the only thing I would do differently is to buy a smaller one, but I may do that too. It is definitely worth the investment.
My mother has had the same KitchenAid mixer for 20 years and it looks just the same! It still performs perfectly and is put to work over all holidays. I can't wait to get my own (as soon as I move to a place with a legitimate kitchen so I have room on the counter for it!).
it's a fatastic product.
i have always loved kitchen aid products. at first i bought the hand mixer which is great. after i got married, my brother bought me the stand mixer and it is so great i haven't even used the hand mixer since!! now they have an even bigger one, and i'm dying to get it!!
This is a MUST HAVE product. You will not be disappointed.
BEST MIXER EVER!
I got one last year for Christmas and I love. I actually back more since I got it. It inspires me.
I got one last year for Christmas and I love it. I actually bake more since I got it. It inspires me.
Well I finally figured out how to adjust that screw and have it mix all the ingredients! I LOVE IT NOW!! I also tried mixing my meatballs in it and I was amazed at how well it did and I no longer had to do it with my hands! It was all human error on my part , What a wonderful product!
I love my mixer but I did notice one thing. When the dough was too thick it started to smoke! I thought this was a heavy duty mixer...but I did make a few adjustments on my part. I was afraid to break the thing snce it cost so much. I do wish it came with a dust cover. For as much money as the thing costs you would think that they would throw that in but it's obvious their out to make a buck. But they do make a great product.
These are nice, but I have an older original kitchen aid stand mixer. When I replace it (its going to need to be soon, it's over 30 years old) I plan to get the 6quart professional kitchen aid. I mix very heavy doughs in big batches!
I saw this mixer in an advertisement and absolutely hope to own it one day.:)
I'm watching for a great deal on one of these...I want one so badly, but sadly, they're out of our price range for now. I've used a friend's & it'd be a wonderful thing for me to have since I have a joint disorder that causes back pain & arthritis-type pain in my hands, making standing & using a regular hand mixer extremely difficult.
I Love it, the best if you only knew I things I did with this mixer.
I have envied these from afar for quite some time. Budget hasn't allowed me to make the purchase yet but it is definitely a goal of mine. Use and old stand mixer my grandmother had but it's not very powerful.
Husband surprised me this Christmas with one and I just love it!!! And he loves all the cooking I've been doing!
I have a 12-year old Kitchenaid hand mixer that works as well as the day I bought it. However, I have been jonesing for the Artisan. Did some research and found it for $199.99 (red or white only at this price) at Amazon.com. They also sell refurbished, for less, but I didn't take note of the prices. Also, there is a $30 Artisan rebate out you should be able to pick up wherever they are sold (picked up mine at Costco). It's good through the end of March. Sweet!!
There is nothing better than Kitchen Aide; I wouldn't have anything else
My mom had on of these when I was growing up and I used it all the time. It still gets use during holiday's. Now that I have my own house I have a smaller version of hers, but it's still great. I use it all the time. There is nothing better than a kitchen aide.
What is not to love about this mixer. I have been wanting one for a long time and I finally got one this year and it is great! The best gift I received. I use it to help make meals for a month and that is a great way to cook!
i love to bake bread at home and this mixer makes it so easy! i don't know how i lived without one!
I LOVE my Kitchenaid mixer! We got ours as a wedding present almost 20 years ago, and it's still going strong! I love to bake and use my Kitchenaid 5 or 6 times a week. It does an incredible job. I have the 4-1/2 quart mixer (that's all they sold to consumers at that time), but I dream of the larger one every once in a while (when cookie dough starts to fly around the kitchen when I make a double batch!) :-)
This mixer is beautiful (I have 'canary yellow') and practical. I have tried out the rotary slicer attachment for cutting up vegetables and shredding cheese, and a good friend of mine uses the sausage making attachment and makes the best homemade sausages ever. Can't recommend Kitchen Aid enough!
Got one for my mother many years ago; over 25 I'm sure. Mother is 82 and she still uses it to this day; every birthday children grandchildren and greatgrand children. LOVE IT NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM WITH IT!!!!!
I love this mixer and can't believe I waited this long to purchase it.
I wondered when I first got this if I would use it very much. I was wrong! I use it every day. It is so convenient!
This mixer is fantastic! I use it for everything from mashed potatoes to whipped cream. It's a lot easier to clean than you might expect, and the splash guard attachment is a must. It is a bit heavy, but not too bad.
MY aunt aunt has one and she makes profeesional cakes and this thing is so fun to cook with its also easy. I love helping just because there so awsome!!!!!!Can't wait to get my first product!!!!!!!!!!!1
I have always wanted this mixer, but I have kept putting it off. Now reading your ratings I am more likely to purchase this mixer, what a great idea , by doing this, Thanks So Much, Pam
I grew up using my Mom's KitchenAid and now have one myself. I absolutely love it and nothing compares!
I got one for my wedding, and it was one of the best gift's that I got! I love it! I use it all the time.
I had the artisan for a few months. I mainly make whole wheat dough (for making Indian bread).I was not at all satisfied with the artisan. I wanted to upgrade to a professional model.luckily i sold it, and got the professional, and it was soooo much better.I love my professional 6 qurt so far and I use it 4 times aweek, with about 5-6 cups of flour every time, and it does very well.
I love my pink mixer. I'm always baking, use it a lot for that, but the other day, I saw my friend making mashed potatoes in her's, and so will probably try that out soon. I seem to have been using it for one purpose, and completely forgotten how versatile it can be!
This is by far and away the best mixer on the market. It is versatile and very durable while maintaining it's new look. I've had one for about 9 years and i love it.
This is one of the greatest products ever. I used to use it to make baby food. That is the reason why I originally bought it,but found out you can do practically anything with this machine. My lean, mean ,beautiful, mixing machine!
Would/could not live without mine! A real must in any kitchen...
Let's just say that this is on my list wish.
Top of the line! Need I say more?
I am on my second one in 34 years. I upgraded and gave my old one to my sister. My mom even kitchen tested the industrial size one many years ago. I cannot do without this.
I can't imagine living without mine, my hubby bought this for me last year for christmas. I can't tell you how much more I bake now!!! not to mention the attatchments! an icecream maker, pasta maker, sasauge filler, etc.... I love this!
I love my Kitchen Aid. The design, motor, and easy clean up. Nearly perfect in every way except for one--I really dislike the "lump" of metal inside the bowl. Really hard to get the batter out when making cookies, cakes etc and so much is wasted. Couldn't they just smooth it out like other mixing bowls?????
my future father-in-law gave me this mixer that belonged to his wife before she passed away and I love it!I've always wanted one and now I have it.She used it all the time and I am glad to have it to use now. I've listed the attachments on our bridal registry and hope we get them as gifts. This mixer is the best and I know I will be able to use it for years and years as they are made to last.
I've had my mixer for sever years. I wouldnt trade it for anything.
We got a kitchenaid for a wedding gift 6 years ago. LOVE IT!! Never had a problem with it and cannot imagine the holidays without it
I saw this the other day and it is awesome. I want one badly.
I have had this mixer for 8 years and love it. I bought my daughter one for Christmas a couple years ago. Every kitchen should have one. My son bought me the food grinder attachment for Christmas this year and I haven't had a chance to try it yet.
With a family of 9 in comes in very handy I love mine. would recommend it to anyone who cooks or bakes.
This mixer comes in very handy. I love it.
I just received this product as a christmas gift and I love it ...It is a great mixer with alot of really good attachments..I recomend this mixer to everyone
I received a Red Artisan for Christmas! It has to be the BMW of the kitchen. I have never had so much fun cooking in 25 years. I cant wait to get the attachments for even more cooking adventures. For those who hvae thought about getting one but thinks its a bit pricey.... It is WORTH Every penny !!!!
received one for xmas four years ago and use it all the time. its fantastic!
My mother bought a red one for our wedding. It is wonderful! I do everything with this! KitchenAid is a miracle! All of their products are incredible and I use them all the time. I always liked cooking and baking, but it's much easier and more fun with the convenience of having the mixer and blender. They are top quality, sturdy and very reliable. I've never heard anything bad about them and now I know why. I would recommend KitchenAid to ANYONE regardless of the amount of cooking/baking they do.
I have a 6 quart Kitchen Aid pro series. I just love my mixer. I have always wanted one since my grandmother was given one as a gift. I do agree that they are very pricey, but very well worth the money if you do a lot of baking or cooking. Kitchen Aid has a great warranty with their products as well.
I received an Artisan last year for Christmas (2006). I have horrible arthritis (since I was years old - 20 years now) and baking became to difficult for me because of all the mixing and hand work required. This product has me back in the kitchen, and a few pounds heavier!
My mother had one years ago and they do last forever! They are a bit to pricy, not in my budget. they are heavy and bulky though.Other then that i would love to have one.
This is the only mixer to buy. I have had my Kitchen Aid for 30 years.
I have a smaller Sunbean stand mixer and I love it. I have alway wanted the Kitchen Aide but could never see paying that much for it. Maybe some day the Kitchen Aide fairy will bless me with her presence lol.
I have 2 kitchen aid mixers ... I couldn't live with out them. I have never had an issue or a problem. I have had both for 15 years. No other brand compares.
For years I would burn out the motor on mixer after mixer, then my family bought me the Kitchen-Aide. I have had it for 12 or more years now and it is still going strong. Wish I had gotten one for a wedding gift 27 years ago!
I have had mine 2 years now, Love it
Would not go back to the other kind.
Just got this as an engagement gift --I've only used it a few times so far, but I love it already! I'm so excited to use it in the future! :)
My mother has on and I have alwayed barowed her's and sometimes fogot to give it back and she gets mad at me all the time. But YES I WOULD RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE MALE OR FEMALE.
I have a Kitchenaid stand up mixer and I would not use anything else. I have made bread, cakes, you name it and it is wonderful.

I said it doesn't scrape sides like it says it does
i love this mixer it is so easy and convenient around the holidays when I do lots of baking.
It is teh best mixer ever. I love it and will never have anything but.
I have the KitchenAid Classic Plus, it's all my budget would allow! I really like it, but I don't always use it. It's so heavy it's hard to use for quick things like cupcakes and rewhipping canned frosting.
My husband (being a technical guy) is concerned that the gears aren't metal. He's recommending that we go with the KitchenAid Professional series. Any thoughts?
Love it, love it, love it!!!!
I have had my KitchenAid mixer for over 25 years....do I need say more??
this mixer is pricey but worth every sent, I absolutely love it. I use it almost everyday.
I have this exact mixer!I love it! I really need to use mine more, but when I do, it reminds me of how much I love to bake, and that I need to find more time to use it!
This mixer is the most versatile one I've ever had! I use it for baking, making delicious mashed potato's, and the best whip cream!
I don't have one of these mixers yet, but someday when I'm rich I will.Hopefully they'll go down in price
