Help! Constant runny nose, congestion for my 3 yr old

Since my 3 yr old has started preschool, she's had that thick yellowy, greenish colored runny nose, which keeps making it's way into her chest causing bronchitis. Some mom's say it's because she just started school. Perhaps, but I have three other kids (2 in elementary school and one in middle school), so she's not missing out on any germs. I thought maybe it's allergies because she's been croupy too in the past, and I even had to rush her to the hospital. We own a nebulizer. Doesn't seem to be doing much. I just wish I knew what to do to relieve (and prevent) her symptoms without drugging her up and constantly squirting saline in her nose. I even thought of using one of those Saline kits. Not sure if they are age appropriate though.

You could try warm tea with honey!

I like to sleep with a diffuser next to my bed, my husband use to always have a stuffed up nose so I started using peppermint oil mixed with tea tree oil and within a week we had 2 more diffusers since it helped him so much, we was actually able to throw out his nasel spray :)
