Wine distributor questions (Lot 18, Invino, etc)

I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the mass wine distributors such as Lot 18 or Invino? There are others but those are the only 2 I have heard of. I was wondering what is the quality of the wine that ships from these websites? The wine is such a bargain with those websites but the skeptic in me wonders what is the trade off for the low price. I googled this question, but I didn't get a good answer. There is a lot on the web on 'wine clubs' but this is not a 'club' per se. This is just a website that mass distributes wine. They sell subscription services. Usually there are 3 tiers, like say $20 x month, $30 x month or $75 month (examples only). Then you say you want so many reds/whites, etc and they hand choose for you. You might can pick the label on the nicer websites and packages. Thoughts? Any one ever used one of those? Thanks in advance, and cheers!
