The Holiday Season is approaching and I'm so excited for all the recipes? Do you have any fave recipes to share that are twists on the classics?

I have a recipe that I would like to share its not really a twist on the classic but it is good, It is called Cookies and Candy Pizza found it on Betty Crocker site I use this a lot around the holidays and I change the candy to match each holiday. 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 egg Toppings, such as candy-coated chocolate candies, candy corn, semisweet chocolate chips, salted or honey-roasted peanuts 1/2 cup shredded or flaked coconut, if desired, tinted orange 1 cup miniature marshmallow 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted

This is the continue of the recipe up above, I could not fit it all. Heat oven to 350°F. Stir cookie mix, oil and egg in medium bowl until soft dough forms. Press dough in ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, forming a narrow rim around edge of pan. Sprinkle choice of toppings on dough; sprinkle coconut over toppings. Bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows on top. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly browned and cookie is set at edge. Cool completely in pan, about 1 hour. Drizzle melted chocolate over top. Cut into 12 wedges. I hope that you enjoy this recipe, It is easy and yummy.

I think my favorite holiday dish is turkey stuffing. We have a special family recipe that got passed down for many generations. My mom makes it specially in the middle of summer for my birthday.

Instead of regular mashed potatoes I make my my dear sweet Mother-in-laws' (RIP Joyce) "Cottage Cheese Potatoes." I don't have time to post the recipe right now but it is really simple and delicious! You only use dried potato flakes, cottage cheese, minced onion, butter, salt and water. They taste just like fresh peeled potatoes only with a "twist"! If I have time I may post in a few days!

1.Regular Ham 2. Fresh pears 3. A cup of brown sugar First peel and slice pear until you see the bone on medium heat cook brown sugar and pear slices and cook until it becomes thick and pears dissolve spread all over ham and coat completely and cook ham ham about 3-4 hrs depending on size of ham. I always add chopped celery and red potatoes and onion it adsorbs the juices perfectly . This is a favorite of my familys and I only make for the holidays.
