Recently I have bought some wine the same brand.I have a few glasses during my shows I like red wine. I place it under my sink thinking it stays cool but recently if I decide to have a glass it smells funny! so I don't drink it and I pour it out.I thought I heard wine can go bad! But I did'nt think within 3or 4 days of being open. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong! Or do I have to finish the bottle not to waste money ?I would like to know were to store it? And how to keep it from going bad. ThankYou Nikki29

when it's opened I keep it in the refrigerator and take it out a couple hours before time to drink it. I know it's suppose to be drank at room temperature...or maybe a refrigerator that is cool, but not real cold, if you have an extra one.

Wine, once open, tends to oxidize. If you aren't able to use an entire bottle once it's been opened, perhaps you should invest in one of those wine preserver vacuum systems. It basically removes most of the air from the bottle, allowing you to store it for much longer than if you just re-cork it.

You've basically started the process to make vinegar. It won't hurt you to drink it but it just won't taste as good. ~ Chef Erin

Definitely invest in the vacuum wine system. They are not that expensive and it will let you keep the wine for several days.

Best way is to vacuum it. DON'T put it in the fridge.Unless it is white of course. Even if you plan to take out of the fridge and drink at room temperature it ruins what it is supposed to taste like. As long as it is vacuumed (or even corked) and not stored in extreme hot or extreme cold it should be fine.

I never knew you weren't supposed to keep wine in the fridge once opened. Oh well, I like beer better anyways.
