The End of a Nap

My daughter is a little over 13 weeks old now. I'm still working on understanding her sleep schedule and have a question in regards to naps. For her night sleep, she wakes up quietly and is all smiles. However, her naps aren't so peaceful. She wakes up crying every now and then. I let her fall back to sleep on her own if she can, but sometimes she cries a lot harder than normal so I go in and comfort her. What I'd like to know is if your child, at around this age, woke up from naps crying or if there ever was a time when the baby would wake up quietly. I don't know how to tell if she is finished with her nap or needs to sleep more. I'm inclined to think that waking up crying means she still needs more sleep. What are some good telltale cues that you see in your child that lets you know they are done with their nap?

She might be hungry, but in general, it takes babies up a year to enter regular sleep patterns.
