My 5 month od has always slept in his bed until we went to visit my mom, which caused us to sleep in the same bed for three weeks. Now he wont even ay in his crib, or even sleep in my bed unless i am in the room. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Let him cry it out. If they get used to sleeping with someone at this age and you don't break it asap you will have to resort to co-sleeping to retain your sanity and your night sleep

I agree with the above comment. You are going to have to let him Cry it out. It hurts you more than it hurts him. Mine have always slept in their beds, but we did have issues when we made the transition from baby to toddler bed. If he gets up, put him right back. I will be a very stressful and tiring process, and may take a week or two, but it works. Good luck

Have you ever considered letting him sleep beside something that he really loves, besides you. Like a bear with your scent for example. Or even staying with him until he falls asleep and is comfortable enough, then you leave the room?

Yes you just have to get him trained back to sleeping on his own. I suggest rocking him to sleep then once he's in a deep sleep put him in his crib. If he wakes up stand at his crib for a lil while to see if he will go back to sleep on his own. if not 1st see if he's hungry and/or needs his diaper changed. If so tend to that, then put him back to sleep. If he doesn't then repeat rocking him back to sleep and putting him in his crib. http://www.facebook.com/parentingisgreat
