Thoughts on second-hand clothes? Saw this new app from Japan called Mercari that has tons of great clothing! They don't take any commissions and seems to offer great customer service. Check out the app and sign up with this code: kln143 that get you $5 credits! (for iphone users only) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id896130944?mt=8 Thoughts?

I buy used childrens clothes at consignment sales. The best website is www.consignmentmommies.com I also shop Goodwill, Salvation Army and other local thrifts.

i like to get second hand clothing - i just go to local consignment or thrift shops mostly. And the occasional fun swapping of clothes with friends when you clean out the closet :)

Love to shop the resale and consignment stores. We live in a college area and I find a lot of great deals on name brand items

I buy the majority of my families clothing items from Goodwills, Salvation Army, and consignment or resale shops. I have been able to find very good brand name clothing and accessories at costs that I can afford. I am proud that my family looks so well dressed. And feel even better knowing how much I spent! It may take a bit more time and effort in searching, but worth every minute. Also, many of my decor and furnishings are "re-homed". Brand name quality items, and impossible to tell that they weren't bought straight from the store! _

Also, try ThredUp.com. I have purchased consigned clothing many times there and have been extremely satisfied with both the quality and prices!

Hi everyone. I have seen some stunning clothes that were supposedly thrift stores purchases. The bargains purchases. Most thrift stores are connected to charties, so when we shop we also support the cause.u
