Teiks.....Are they Worth the Money??

I have recently found out about these shoes. I have some disability issues that unfortunately require me to give up my heels and only wear flats. I have heard that Teiks are like putting your foot in butter they are so comfortable and that the comfort last all day. I went to there website to check out. I was shocked at the price! They start at $175. They are Italian leather and do come in more colors than I've seen any other shoe but....are they really worth that much money?? I would like to know if any of you have actually tried these shoes. Are they that comforable and well made or would I be paying for the name and able to get sonething comparable for much less? Have you ever seen them on sale? I would really appreciate your opinions and help on this product as it would be a huge investment for me!
