I am cursed with oily makeup. 30 minutes after putting on foundation and powder I can see oil seeping from my skin. I live in texas and it's beyond humid here. My makeup tends to get blochy and break up. I try to matify myself but often look Cakey because of the several layers of makeup. I am in need of help! Any tips tricks and or suggestions? My make up routine consists of: Rice primer Oil free concealer Water proof foundation Mac powder and de-slick spray I often keep oil blotter pads with me to take away the oil throughout the day.

I have very oily skin also and it can be really frustrating. Here are a few things I do to control the shine! First make sure that you're not over-drying your skin with your skincare routine, the more you dry out your skin the more oil it produces, so ensure that your skin is moisturized daily. Now on to the makeup. It's imperative that we oily-skinned ladies have a good primer, a few that have worked for me have been Smashbox Camera Ready, Etude House Face Blur, and the most important one, Too Faced Primed and Poreless POWDER primer, it's truly amazing! Next, don't go too heavy on the foundation, I actually prefer a BB cream, but if you're looking for a liquid foundation I would recommend YSL ink foundation, it's long lasting, full, buildable coverage, and leaves your skin looking and feeling natural, not cakey. Next, its very important you get a great setting powder. I'm partial to banana powders. A few great banana powders are Besame, Anastasia. and Ben Nye. They are wonderful:)

Try using a foundation setter/primer. They have different kinds so pick the one that best suits you.
