Dark hairs of my chin...no bueno...Laser?

I waxed my chin a few years back for no good reason and now I have lots of little dark hairs that grow on my chin . I pluck them out of course but they all grow at different times so every couple days I am plucking them out because they bug the heck out of me. Has anyone ever done laser hair removal? I am interested in it but it freaks me out a little? How long has it been around, it couldn't cause cancer later down the road right?

I have a few hairs that I get on my chin but I have electrolysis which is a needle being put in to the hair follicle I get this done about every four months or as I see a hair come back I book an appointment it costs about forty dollars for thirty minutes and it is a little painful but I can go through the pain for less chin hair.

In my twenties, I had electrolysis on my chin, It was very successful but it tooks months of treatments. I would do 15 minutes sessions once a month which is why it took so long. Many year later, during chemo treatment for breast cancer, all my facial hair fell out (eyebrows, eyelashes, etc.). Now, a few years after chemo, dark hair has reappeared on my chin. I just pluck them out but it's an everyday routine. I just don't want to spend time and money on electrolysis again.

I actually bought this at home laser hair removal called flash n go ! It says you can use it on your face but I've only tried my under arms and lady parts ! Lol but it really works ! All my hair on my armpits are gone ! It took a couple months but you don't have to keep going back like everyone says and it's really convenient !
