Okay ladies, here's the issue. It's spring now, which means bathingsuit season is right around the corner. My issue is that I have lingering stretch marks that I would really like to be rid of. Any thoughts on products that ACTUALLY WORK?? Much thanks!

It's a topic both The Doctors tv show and Dr Oz have covered recently. Their websites will have the clips. They discussed home remedies to drs offices and lasers. So far from what I've seen personally after my gf's babies has been laser treatment when the marks are still new gives good results. There are a few good skin illuminators and self tanners too out on the market, boy have they improved those, that could help mask. Dr Oz gives the best explaination on what stretch marks are and how we get them, cellulite was also covered. It's very interesting. Wish you well in your results.

My name is Kelly and I work at Apothederm Skin Care. We recently (4/11) launched a new product called Apothederm Stretch Mark Cream. It has been clinically proven with some participants seeing results in 2 weeks with others seeing result up to 12 weeks. If you would to try a sample or receive a coupon code for your order, email apothederm@gmail.com with your address. We have had fantastic comments from users so far and would love to hear what your feedback is.

I've lost over 40 lbs and stretch marks are big problem for me. I used Queen Helene Cocoa Butter (you can find @ Walmart) . I am now using Bio Oil and also Vaseline cocoa butter deep conditioning. Since Bio Oil only comes in a small size I only use it on my arms. I buy the Vaseline in two packs at Sams great save for your buck. I apply it every night after I bathe and I have seen results in less than a month. I have seen a huge reduction in the appearance of the stretch marks. The marks in my arms have faded significantly can barley tell. I would recommend trying both these products. Good Luck!

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure let me tell you. That being said, my plastic surgeon recommended scarguard. It comes in a nailpolish size container and is about $10-$15. It smells terrible but I guess you can't argue with a plastic surgeon. I'm waiting to see results. Wish they sold it by the gallon to mix into a misting spray.

I'm about to start trying a dermaroller. I have stretch marks on my chest area and someone on YouTube said it worked for her. I ordered one that has 1.5 ml needles from eBay. Hopefully it works. It seems that it should be used once every 7-9 days for a few months. I'll be putting shea butter on after using the roller. Hope this helps.

Each type of skin has a unique reaction to a certain treatment. Some skin types will still have stretch marks even with the conscious effort of applying lotions and oils which leaves us to remedy the situation after the stretchmarks appear. I would also like to try the derma roller. I have read good reviews about this product, I am particularly interested about the MelodySusie® 2-in-1 Face and Body Derma Roller Kit. Some say it takes about 6-12 months before you can see any visible results. I am willing to persevere as long as I can get my stretch marks off.
