Intimate Encounter...
Post reply image

I would like to say that my sex life is healthy. TRUTH is I have lost the drive for sex. Is there something wrong with me that prevents me from wanting it... is it my partner? Im 24 and can't seem to understand why I feel so...wrong? I wanted to ask you ladies if you've ever felt like this...at one time or another... I just want to know if there are ways to improve this or if anybody has any tips... Thanks Dolls. Mel

Could simply be stress, any changes in your life from a new job to a sick relative, simple things can cause it in my experience. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you.

Could be a combination of your partner and being stressed. Have your partner give you a massage (try some relaxing oils too) and see where it goes.

For me it felt like a result of dealing with life stressors (e.g. moving, career changes, loss of loved one) that just drains my energies away from having (or wanting) any sort of drive. Mini romantic getaways or date nights that solely focuses on spending time with the partner helps. Try to spice things up by trying different things, routine can be a killer as well.

I am 55 and am having a terrible time with sexual intimacy. I have tried quite a few different pills, including the newest Osphena, and also Premarin. I had a reaction to Osphena and found that the Premarin, while it worked, was very messy. When I saw my doctor for a pap smear, I nearly climbed up the table from the pain. She said I was very dry and rore (?). Does anyone have any other solutions to this problem?
