Have the doctors u seen say anything about damage to your back? I they didn't see anything wrong..... have u ever use any kind of warming oils for back pains, neck pains of any kind. If not, have someone massage your back & neck ,or heating pads .Try to find something for back support that u can wear while working.

Hi, I've gone to chiropractor, three times a week I use heat wraps on my neck and use a heat pad for my lower back. Almost on a daily basis I use excedrin tension headache cuz it works well on the muschle stiffness on my neck and shoulders, more so than the pain medicine. I also use muscle relaxers and do some neck therapy. Ask your doctor for a print out of some neck excercises that may help you. I do normal neck stretches daily otherwise I won't make it through the day. I have done this for years but it does relieve alot of the pain. I had been in a couple of car accidents and I have a degenartive disk in my neck so besides surgery not much else to do. Also you can lay on your back and do some back stretches, doctor should have some print outs for that as well, that will help loosen the lower muscles and ease some pain. Have they given you any high doses of ibuprofen for the swelling of muscles????? Have you tried a pain management clinic? Brother gets shots for his back pain.

all that also helps if you get migraines. I used to get several a month but thankfully haven't had to many bad ones, just one that lasted two days but its been a while in between that one and the last bad one. Oh and by the way, the shots hurt but my brother said they help him quite a bit. He's taking pills daily for his back but it's not bad enough for surgery yet the doctor says. Hope you find some relief, back and neck pain can sometimes be debilatating, so I understand where your coming from. Sorry about my spelling.

Sorry your having so much trouble and that I couldn't be of more help. I hope you do find relief though because it's not fun being in pain all the time. Have you tried going through the state for insurance?? I have a couple of friends that have had to go that route because insurance is to spendy. I know if it wasn't through work theres no way I could afford it, heck even with work its still spendy. I can't always afford to go to the doctor so that's why I resorted to the heat wraps and stuff. Let me know if you find anything that I haven't mentioned so I can give it a whirl to. Oh I just remembered my sister uses this roll on that freezes the area that is causing pain, she got it from a message therapist, maybe that will work.

once you have a back injury it really never gose away. The best thing you can do once it's had a chance to rest is to strangthen your core muscules to protect your injury. Yoga is a great gental way to get a strong core.

Kerriann, my sister is out of town for a couple of days, but when she gets back i will get that info from her. I also read something in Redbook about a different one, I haven't tried it but it does the same as the one my sister uses and it's from the arthritis foundation. Their website is www.arthritis.org so you can look up more info on it. But anyway here it is, it's called Cobroxin for chronic pain, it's an oral spray. Lower back pain, joint pain, neck aches, shoulder pain, cramps, migraines. They also have a telephone number, 1-800-410-1113. I am also going to see how it works, fell a couple of days ago and my back is killing me, reverted to the pain pills which I don't like to do cuz I get to loopy and with a 6 year old, can't do that. Anyway I hope this helps. I think the one my sister uses is biofreeze but like I said I will find out for sure and let you know. :)
