I have tried knitting in the past but it just didn't go very well for me. I felt like I was all thumbs. However, I do crochet especially in the winter when it is cold up here in the north. I live in Idaho and it is absolutely beautiful here.

I knit and crochet. I am in the process of becoming a certified instructor in crochet through the Craft Yarn Council. I love it so much i want to share it with others. Eventually I would like tell my projects and/or patterns once I start designing.

I've tried knitting but my love lies with crochet! I love the satisfaction of a completed project and the freedom of one hook. I am going to give knuitting a go again but will remain a hooker at heart.

I am learning to crochet and love it. I find it relaxing. I would love to learn another hat pattern than the one I have. Do anyone have any suggestions were to find new EASY patterns.

I started out crocheting and have learned to knit over the past few years. I like the look of knit, but crochet goes so much faster. I have an etsy store where I sell my football beanie hats. http://www.etsy.com/listing/83581521/the-original-adult-football-beanie-hat I also offer the pattern for free on my blog: http://mommiescrochet.blogspot.com/2011/01/football-beanie-pattern.html

Woohoo, crochet-ers! I'm not a knitter. I'm not even sure I can call myself a crochet-er :) but I do enjoy a project now and then. I'm not big on large crochet projects, so I usually stick to jewelry, hairpins, or tiny decals. I love making the small things. Happy to see you all have etsy stores! I've sold a bit on Etsy, but nothing listed recently. Love what sayitrahshay's comment about the 'freedom of one hook' - I'm with you there!

ProudMeme, google google google- you can find TONS of free patterns on line. May take a bit of searching, but once you find a good site, you'll be set.

I crochet, but I also knit a little. I am just teaching myself. I also tat and spin. I have done a little bobbin lace. I just love to see the thread/yarn/fleece/fiber grow into something even more beautiful! I found the site Ravelry.com . It has wonderful people that help with an questions you might have.

I can knit a little bit but am not very good at it. If I drop a stitch, I don't know how to go back & pick it up. I usually get frustrated & unravel the whole thing & then throw everything into my knitting bag. I can crochet pretty well & it's a whole lot easier than knitting.

Kinda how I felt and sometimes still do. I try to make items that I don't have the skill for yet.
