Do you know kids who are flipping? What do you think - is it an annoying waste-of-time? Or is it a harmless way to get kids outside? Tell us about your experience!

I think its stupid but if my daughter wants to spend an hour outside flipping the bottle on the curb its an hr less that she's laying around , whining , or using the computer so I say go ahead Flip till your hearts content !!

I've seen videos, but I don't personally know anyone that does it. That doesn't mean they don't do it in secret though, lol.

My 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son both do this. I'm not sure how this craze started, but it gets them together, without the fighting. They will do this every day after school and even the weekends. They also record them doing this to put on YouTube. I myself, think it's annoying, but they enjoy it, and they're not hurting anyone by doing so.

My boys can't stop flipping and I wish they would. They flip everything! At breakfast we start the day flipping the milk jug, and it goes on all day with any bottle they find from juice boxes to water bottles to cans. And if it lands on the cap they high-five each other and act like they got a gold metal in the Olympic. It really fun something so simple can entrain them for hours.

My sons and their friends are doing this constantly! It's fun at first, but then drives you crazy. I know they have fun though.
