Do you tell friends and family who you are voting for? How do you feel when a friend or family member tells you they are voting for a different candidate? What have you said or done?

Everyone who participates in one of our presidential politics discussions will be entered for the chance to win one of four $25 Visa gift cards. Giveaway is open through October 9th, 2016 to U.S. residents at least 18 years of age.

I don't tell them, they already know who I will vote for! Im not upset because everyone has a opinion who is better.

I have no problem with telling anyone who I am going to vote for, friends or strangers. I feel very annoyed and concerned for the sanity and well being of those who don't vote the way that I would like them to vote. They can probably sense my disgust just by looking at my expression.

Yes, if they ask. I figure if they are asking they want to at least have a conversation. If they are voting for the other candidate that is fine - their vote. I am at least glad I have shared why I would not vote for that person.

I try to avoid discussing politics with my mom because I know we do not agree.

I do tell family for whom I'll be voting & my friends probably know by my posts on social media. We have great conversations with our oldest grandson, explaining our views. We especially encourage family to _vote_ even if they cancel our vote. If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome.

I tell people who I am voting for, if asked, and I explain my reasons. If it looks like our differences are going to start a war, I say "well then we have to agree to disagree." I refuse to lose family or friends over this.
