What are some plus size stores?

I have a daughter who is going to be a junior in high school. She is about 3X or 18. Because I have other children going back to school and am a single parent, I can't afford expensive clothes like from Torrid or Alloy. I feel terrible because she is so beautiful and deserves to wear anything her heart desires, but I just don't have the money. What are some plus size stores that I will be able to get her what she wants and not have to worry about prices?

Dots has a nice plus size selection as does Target and Walmart. I always shop Fashion Bug ,Lane Bryant and The Avenue on clearance. I know this is an old thread but thought if anyone was looking for bargains you could check out those stores. Forever 21 like someone mentioned is also a good one but you do get what you pay for there. Some clothing you have to be careful a lot of it is hand wash only.

Hi. I'm always looking for 'trendy' plus size clothes that are affordable. I know that Torrid can be pricey but I definitely get great deals from their clearance section. Also, Old Navy has plus sizes online - their shipping is not bad and they have free returns/exchanges. They get great sales as well. Alight.com is another store (lots of cute dresses!) and they always have a sale going on. Deb is a store in a lot of malls that has a plus size section - again I go there online and find some good deals. They have a decent plus size selection. One online store that I haven't ordered from yet but plan to is $5.99 fashion where everything is...$5.99. (599fashion.com). I can't speak for the quality as of yet. Hope that helps!

I am a HUGE fan of The Limited. Their clothes are flattering, flexible, "in" and often go on sale. Recently, The Limited opened a plus size sub-store by a different name, but is linked to on their main website. This new line uses classic Limited style, while adjusting sizing to flatter different body types. I believe that the plus size line is available only online. However, in my experience online ordering from The Limited brands is reliable once you understand your size. Buyers often review items to help you determine whether to size up or down. While I am not certain this applies to the plus size line as I don't believe it's offered in-store, The Limited lets you return items purchased online free of charge in-store. Finally, The Limited often offers coupon codes for online discounts and free shipping. I am not sure whether all of these apply to the plus size line, or if those use separate coupon codes. At any rate, signing up for emails will give you plenty of discounts.

Fashion Bug is great when it comes to affordable and trendy clothing. Also, try Target. Their plus size section isn't very big in the store, but online they have a lot. Old Navy also has a great and extremely affordable plus size section on their website. Unfortunately Old Navy's plus size clothes are only online now.

Old Navy has a plus size line online only that has a number of basic and dressy options. Kohls has a junior plus size line as well. Personally, I will hunt through Ross, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls for good finds. I have on more than one occasion gone to Goodwill and thrift stores near the wealthier parts of town to find amazing prices on clothes.

Have you tried the woman's section of JCPenney? I'm not sure what their selection is like, but they have very reasonably prices and some great monthly specials.
