Water, Water, and More Water. It's the only thing that helps me.

Yes drink the water. It's not so much that you have to stop eating the junk food even though you should, start checking the specified servings and only eating that , maybe it will fix your craving and you won't have to eat so much of it. It worked for me and now I am only eating chips once or twice a month, usually when it's that time of the month, lol. Also try switching to baked chips, they actually are a little better for you, if it's the crunch you need try some carrot sticks or celery with them, retrain your brain and your tastebuds, hopefully this helps you. The retrain phrase the doctor said to me, sorry its stuck in my head, by doing this I also lost 5 pounds. Good luck

this is what i do because I'm a chocolate addict. I bought my favorite chocolate bar, and put it somewhere in the house and whenever i want it i go like this is not good for me its only mines and I'm not going to eat it because it hurts me. Also when you feel like u want to eat it just because u see it, try a spoon of peanut butter, it'll take the craving away:) helped me :)

Brianna - wish I could help you, but I could have started this topic. I find that my cravings correlate with my cycle. Water is wonderful; it is so great for your skin and hair also. I think working on changing the mindset - knowing that you're doing something good for yourself is very powerful. You deserve to be good to yourself. Look for healthier alternatives to your favorite junk foods. Make gradual changes. Don't try to overhaul your life and eating habits in one fell swoop. Maybe go from chips to dehydrated veggie chips, then carrots sticks. Try Stoneyfield Farms Chocolate Underground Yogurt (or Caramel Underground.) They're both very tasty - I promise. Keep track of the amount you're taking in of these things (junk foods). Gradually decrease it. Most importantly, don't beat yourself up, take it one day at a time, you can always start fresh the next day, the next hour, the next minute. Good luck to you!

I also love choc., Not sure if this will help, but I mix dark choc chips w/almonds & dates & mini pretzels. I eat that for a snack & I still get some choc. that way or I've mixed choc chips with cereal (granola or honey bunches of oats) and eat it dry, as a snack.

I'm in the same boat...it's part willpower and water (seltzer is better) works. However, what has helped me was going to a nutritionst. It's a good thing to help you on a "path" to guide you if you're a person of process/habit and structure. Long story short is that if you're eating the right foods throught out the day (right food, amounts, times, etc.) AND you have the will, you should be OK, but it's all easier said than done. Hang in there!

I have the same cravings!! what I tried was taking a cinnamon supplement when I feel them comming on. One of my friends is really into nutrition and asked if I craved sweets. I thought it was a weird question until I answered no and she went on to tell me that my body is not getting enough sugar and that is why I crave carbs instead. The cinnamon supplement is supposed to regulate your sugar metabolism and cinnamons also a fat blocker =)

I have learned the more you eat it the more you crave it. It took me about 2 weeks to stop my cravings for sugar when i switched to a healthy eating. I avoid anything with sugar or fake sugar .
