Has She Speaks ever evaluated the weight loss programs out there. I am about to start on a plan...does anyone have any suggestions as to which one they think is the best?

Hi, I have struggled with my weight for 17 years after my daughter. I also have fibromyalgia and that lowers your metabalism drastically. I jogged 5 miles a day and did step arobics at least 5 nights a week. That didn't totally help. Along with being a health finatic with food and vitamines. I was to stubborn to put weights into my schedule. I don't know why. Well I got in a car accident and my message therapist took me to the gym twice a week and you should of seen the weight come off. And the energy I got from it was incredible. My self esteem got so much better also. I could also eat what ever I wanted too, well to a point. Since I only worked out twice a week I had to work out hard. But now I work out 3 to 5 times a week for 45 min to a hour. I think everyone should do this. It changes your life. Good luck

So this isn't exactly a program, but i recently got the free Lose It! application for the Itouch/Iphone and it's completely amazing. I have tried a bunch of other stuff, the five factor, south beach, and this is totally easy and non-time consuming. It just helps you realize how much you really eat, how much you should eat, and how much exercise to do. I've already lost weight.

I've been doing a fitness thing on one of my blogs. I've checked out some of the weight loss programs but since I'm not working I can't afford them. I've just started walking 30-40 minutes a day and doing some weight lifting. My advice is to check out sparkpeople.com its free and you can get meal plans and keep track of your weight loss on the site.

I also do the walk at home tapes, I have done Jenny Craig, it worked well until i stopped. VERY EXPENSIVE, but it did taste good and made me feel full. After i have my baby i might go back to that.

Read or listen to the audio book "Naturally Thin" by Bethany Frankle. Seriously. It makes sense.
