Halloween Doesn't Have To Be So Scary

New Hope through Hypnosis
The findings are very interesting. Women in the hypnosis group required significantly less medication during surgery. Though the amount of pain medication taken after the surgery was the same between the control and hypnosis group, the women in the hypnosis group reported less pain, nausea, fatigue, and emotional upset than the women in the control group.

Studies are now proving that women who hire doulas need a great deal less medical intervention such as; cesarean, pain relieving and labor inducing drugs, forceps delivery, and so on. Women are also experiencing shorter labors and report feeling more satisfied with the delivery process than mothers who did not use a doula.
