Pushed Into Pregnancy
The women who were asked about this type of abuse in the family planning clinics saw a 70 percent drop in the rate of subsequent pregnancies involving reproductive coercion. Just being asked the question seemed enough for a lot of the women to wake up and take a stand. In the clinics where women were asked these questions, 60 percent of them left their relationships afterward because "it felt unsafe."

The Organic Option: Is It Worth The Cost?
Many were shocked to read results from a 2009 study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that found little difference in vitamin content of organic food and the non-organic goods. Wendy Kramer, who conceived a son through artificial insemination and founded the Donor Sibling Registry, believes the way sperm banks are currently run is dangerous. Kramer says, "There are no rules or regulations about donor identification, testing donors, monitoring numbers of children, or medical records. They recruit young college kids with no education and no counseling for the donors.'

Why It Can Hurt To Be A Woman
Though researchers are unsure exactly why women have more recurrent pain and disabilities from pain, one theory has a lot to do with hormones. Jennifer Kelly, from the Atlanta Center for Behavioral Medicine in Georgia, discusses this theory and how the menstrual cycle often has a lot to do with discomfort for women who suffer from recurrent pains.

Another Reason To Show Some Sister Love
Dr. Jennifer Hartstein, explains the reasons why a sister can lead to better mental health outcomes for her siblings. Hartstein says, "Girls tend to be a much more social, interactive kind of role in a different way than a brother would. So, it's really also sister to sister. That's important to think about, is sisters are learning from their older sisters or younger sisters, how to be caring, how to look out for, how to watch out for emotional needs of one another."

Women Everywhere Are Seeing Red
Women involved in the study were asked to rate men wearing different colored shirts and the men in red always triggered women to describe them as more powerful and desirable. Researchers who worked on the study found that red is a powerful color that seems to transcend all cultures.

High Heel Health Hazard
Biomechanics expert, Casey Kerrigan, believes women should toss the high heel shoes flat out. Kerrigan led a Harvard University study about high heels which found that the fashionable shoe is the cause of high rates of knee arthritis in older women. Kerrigan says, "It's not worth it. We?re living long enough that all of us are going to get arthritis and anything you can do to minimize the severity is a good thing."

Our Hair, Our Therapy
About a third of the women surveyed admitted that they change their hair after a breakup and half the women said they change their hair when they are bored. Almost 40 percent of women change their hair as a way to gain confidence. Collinge says, "With our modern, everyday stresses and hectic lifestyles, often a restyle or a new color is an effective way to boost a woman's confidence."

More Women Pass On Motherhood
The analysis also found that the number of women never baring children is up in every ethnic group and most education backgrounds across the board, except for the highly educated where they saw a drop in women going without kids.

No Go For the "Female Viagra"
Critics also argue that the pharmaceutical company is creating a disease they call hypoactive sexual desire disorder, in order to market a pill to women that just doesn't work. And the marketing of the drug had been set in motion long before it went before the FDA.
