I like to use Rock Your Hair Size Matters Big Volume Root Lift before blow drying. Then add some texture tousle after its dry. I touch it up with some hair spray!

For longer hair. Bend forward and brush your hair toward the floor. Spray with hair spray, using fingers to separate sections do spray get to the roots. Stand up. Shake your head, then smooth and fluff with fingers. Spray. Voila. The spray at the roots keeps the hair from laying flat against the scalp. The rest of the process makes the hair appear full and thick.

I separate my hair into sections at the roots, spray lightly with hairspray, blow dry the section "up" with the hair dryer, then tossle with fingers at scalp!
