My mother always told me to follow my heart and dream big - words that inspire me everyday and words that I share with not only my children but with my nieces, nephews and friends.

My mom is the best to me because she is so caring and hard working and so so so very loving. She's also strong and she's passed a few of those qualities to me. She'll always be my #1

Sorry I can't say many wonderful things about my mom, although I love her dearly she has taught me how to take a beating and what not to do as a mother. Thanks for the chance!!!

When I found out I was carrying twins, I wanted to give one or both of them due to already having a 2 year old and chronic depression. I was afraid of not being able to handle it all. When I told my mom my plans she swore she would disown me...I didn't want that so I decided to keep both the babies...I had a boy and a girl, Katie and Caleb. She supported me until she died at 49 years old. I will never stop missing her. She is my Guardian Angel. My kids Guardian Angel too! O:)

As far back as I remember my mom was always there for me and It was her unconditional love that gave me the strength to face the day ahead and the challenges of life. Mom was a social butterfly and a humanitarian as well and I remember her compassion and sympathy for those in need. Even though we didn't have much ourselves, she would always think of others less fortunate and would do what she could to lighten someone's heavy load. I can remember being in the car with her when suddenly she would abruptly stop because she had spotted someone walking home with bags of groceries. She would ask if they would like a ride home and she'd take them home and sometimes they ended up being good friends. Her cheerful attitude was noticed by so many who crossed her path. I will treasure the memories of my amazing mom for the rest of my life. Mom gave me the most important gift of all and that was her legacy of love.

My Grandma was more of a mom for me than my mom. She was the best. I'll never forget all the wonderful things she did for me and how she took care of me. Though she's been gone for almost 10 years I still feel her watching over me to this day.

My mom taught me to treat others as I would want to be treated. A very simple concept that I'll never forget.

The thing that makes my mom so special to me is that she is a fighter! 6 years ago she came down with breast cancer and fought for her life to live another day, ever since then I have looked at her in a different way because she has taught me so much from this one experience. She is truly my hero and I thank God everyday that I am able to spend another day with her!

My mom has always been one tough cookie. She was in the US Army and has a "Never give up" attitude. I seem to have inherited this attitude. This last year has possibly been the worst in my life due to struggling financially and yet I refuse to give up. Something that has come in super handy with being responsible for 6 children.

Well for starters my mom was not around after I was 7 so my dad was my mom and dad. He was such a brave man for raising twin girls on his on for ten years. He may not have known what he was getting himself into but he was definitely my hero and still is. He was there for my good times like first dances to showing me how to cook and clean. He was there for my bad times like puberty ha ha that was interesting. He had shown me that no matter what life throws at you, nothing will be able to keep you down and you can accomplish anything that you want when you work hard for them, for that I was the first of my family to earn a college degree. He showed me that even when you're alone (single) and you have children, you are never alone. They are the ones that keep you going and be was right. Thank you dad, I love you.
