We’ve all heard the news and witnessed the number of women on the list of Tiger Woods’ alleged extramarital affairs growing daily. Whether you seek out the reports or just happen to hear about them on the evening news, it seems they are everywhere. The extent of the Woods coverage is leaving many to question whether all of this should be such a public matter.
Even if you have no interest in golf, you are probably well aware of who Tiger Woods is and most of us know how he prefers to keep his life, outside the sport, very private. All of this changed recently when Woods was involved in a car accident just outside his home. After the accident, reports started surfacing about a domestic disturbance with his wife that may have led up to the accident and the alleged affairs that fueled the disturbance.
With each day since the accident it seems a new woman declares publicly that she too had an affair with Woods. The latest count of women making this claim is ten. A recent articles from Forbes discusses whether or not Woods’ family matters should be kept private. A poll from The Sharkey Institute for Seton Hall University found that 78 percent of responders thought that details about the car accident and the alleged fight with Woods’ wife should have been kept private.
Tiger Woods himself has responded to all the press surrounding him and his family when he said, "Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions." Forbes points out how this statement is ironically presented in the form of a press release and a public confession. This is reminiscent of the way the women who host ABC’s The Viewrecently agreed on air that Tiger Woods’ family problems should be kept private just before they all began to dish on the latest gossip that surrounded him.

the price of fame. your privacy get shot out the window seriously. I personally thought that he was a good guy. he has a loving family, a wife and a child! and to find out that he went and done that behind her back after she was carrying his child? I'm sorry but its just wrong. He should have his privacy, no doubt about it, but he should have known better. To think he was going to get away with this? lots have been decieved...

YES! I know there are bigger issuses going on in the world right now, but would you like to be cheated on? NO! Tiger Woods needs to pay for what he did! I did think he was a good guy, guess not!. People that are in the public eye need to realize that they are role models whether they like it or not! Start acting like it. Now for his wife she needs to handle this in her way whatever she wants to do! If she wants to stay than stay if she doesn't then go! She is the one who needs the privacy! TIger should have not cheated in the first place!!!

I don't think its right for the media to be in someone's family problems like that. Its disgusting and shameful to think that the public views celebrities personal problems newsworthy. Why don't they just air EVERYONES personal family problems then? No one would be so hungry for updates on this if it was someone they knew,right? Worry about yourself and your own family .

I think he is in the public eye so now he has to deal with it.He tried to fool ppl and his fans(im not one) by playing the good guy and beeing innocent.Now we know why he stayed so private.
Its just a shame for his wifey that he had all this women.I ask myself if she didnt know it or didnt wanna know it.Because how did he make all those women be so quiet for so long?
I am really not all into this celebrity stuff but then again he needs to pay for what he has done and he needs to apologize to his still wife big times..I think ppl are just interessted in it cuz ppl cheat all the time but cheat with so many women for so long? Its about how he tried to build an image about what he is not.
The only thing i think is disgusting is: the mistresses because how can you enjoy taking another womans husband away, dont they have any selfrespect??are they seriously that desperate that they cant find a single man?

I kind of felt bad when this came out. It should have been private, but now after hearing about 10 different ones? I would have hit him with the golf club myself. How can you do that and still think that your wife will forgive you?
Now that I have said my piece, people need to just get on with their own lives and not worry about the public.
