:: Love it! Sort of a trashy tabloid for the intellectual. Celebrity news, fashion, etc. crossed with some outstanding journalism. Witty too. |

:: I used to think a while lot more highly of Vanity Fair than I do now. As a former subscriber, I was irritated when they screwed up a simple change of address and didn't bother to replace any of the lost issues. Also, I'm sick of the boring political overtones and agendas that clearly fuel most of the articles and features in this magazine. My favorite article/feature would always be the one written by Dominick Dunne, but now that he has just passed away, what's the incentive to spend my precious time reading a magazine that seems so removed from reality and in love with itself. |

:: I believe Vanity Fair is one of the best magazines. The articles are interesting and very well written. Vanity Fair is much more than your typical fashion magazine. |

:: i like this mag. before kids, i read it all the time. its the kind of thing you curl up in your favorite chair for, get a hot chocolate and just spend a few hrs on. the photos are awesome, even though highly unrealistic, and the stories are amazing! they are really written by and for someone with a brain who likes critical thinking. i was very pleasantly surprised when i bought this and liked it so much, that i subscribed for a whole year.
but now, with a baby, who has the time? and i still have to read all the parenting mags. |

:: I think this magazine is GREAT if you need to be able to spot fashion and trends. I am anything BUT rich, but I owe many, many, MANY a good eBay find to having read Vanity Fair. I read it all the time so I can maintain my sense of 'label recognition.' I'd have passed by a bunch of Romeo Gigli's - new, with tags- for less than 4.00 each - if I had not been a Vanity Fair reader! |

:: I will admit to an occasional addiction to this magazine. There are some great personality stories- Loved the article on Ariana Huffington! But, more often than not, the magazine's editor in cheif, Graydon Carter's political agenda comes through. Often times the magazine takes itself very seriously. Come on people! It's called VANITY FAIR! |
