Makes: 8 servings
Description: This is a recipe that makes a delicious apple cobbler that uses the bounties of the fall apples. It gets rave reviews every time!
Ingredients:
6
apples, 2 each of 3 different varities
1 stick
butter
1 cup
flour
1 cup
sugar
1/4 cup
liquid (apple juice, brandy, or water)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325
Mix by hand or in processor the butter, flour and sugar. Set aside.
Peel, core and slice apples and toss in a 9 X13 pan. sprinkle evenly over the top of the apples the flour mixture.
Bake in 325 oven for 70 minutes. After 40 minutes, check to see if the apples have released liquid. If it seems dry, add 1/4 cup of your favorite liquid and continue to cook till time is up.
