Spotlight on SheSpeaks Blogger - Lindsay Martin of Laughing Lindsay

Lindsay Martin has a Master of Education and she teaches middle school math during the day. At night, she can be found online at Laughing Lindsay or on Twitter as @89linz. She loves cupcakes and enjoys spending time with loved ones. We caught up with her to find out more about her life and here is what we found out, in her own words.

I live in….A small town in southwestern Virginia.
 
My niche is… Product reviews and millennial lifestyle.
 
I started blogging in…June 2009 (during a summer break in college).
 
I write when….. I’m done grading papers and writing lesson plans.
 
How has blogging changed my life: Blogging has allowed me to meet lots of people I never would have come into contact with otherwise.
 
A brand you have loved working with? I’ve loved working with P&G as well as General Mills on multiple posts over the years.
 
How I see the future of blogging/social media: Blogging and social media have already become the sources of today’s news, so I imagine that trend will continue.
 
Where I work: I work from the couch or at my desk.
 
I am connected…. In the afternoons, at night, on the weekends, and during the summer.
 
When I’m stressed, I…..Talk to loved ones, take a relaxing shower, or binge-watch a show.
 
My favorite gadget is…. My Samsung Galaxy S 4.
 
My favorite travel destination is…. Wherever there is a blog conference so I can connect with people.
 
My favorite clothing brand is… Lee, Old Navy, or LOFT.
 
I do all my shopping…. With coupons and discounts.
 
My favorite TV shows: Revenge, Game of Thrones, The Middle, Scandal, Pretty Little Liars, Bates Motel, House of Cards, and American Horror Story.
 
My favorite movie: I have a hard time picking just one, but it would probably star either Leonardo DiCaprio or Ryan Gosling.
 
Coffee or tea: Both!
 
I love…. Cupcakes, teaching, and my family.
 
I dream about…. Seeing my dad again.
