Candy Po is the owner and content creator at candypo.com -where everyday is a party because she is the Fun Coordinator! The party of four that includes her two sons and her husband, they are currently stationed in Georgia. She has been blogging for almost four years now sharing their Army family life, television & movie news, ways to win sweepstakes, reviews, foodie fun, and travel!

We wanted to get to know Candy better, and this is what we found out, in her own words.

I live in….Augusta, Georgia for now. 

My niche is…Lifestyle 

I write when….. During the day while the boys are in school & at night when they are asleep.

How has blogging changed my life: It has brought a second income into our home with lots of fun perks. I have had amazing experiences, worked with brands I love and made wonderful friends. 

A brand I have loved working with: Doctor Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment. I love supporting awesome brands from Texas because I am a native Texan. I’ve had the privilege to work with AT&T, Chevy, Unilever, and many other brands; the experience has been very amazing. 

When did I start blogging: Unofficially in 2009, launched Candypo.com September 2012. 

How I see the future of blogging/social media: I think that bloggers will continue to be a trusted voice for people and social media will continue to grow in volumes as well as reach. The gap between young and old users online will slowly diminish and hopefully there will be transparent acceptance on any and all medias. 

Where I work:  On the couch in my living room unless I go and sit in our office.

I am connected…. Constantly.. I feel like I’m always online. 

When I’m stressed, I….. Take a step back, take a deep breath then keep plugging away.

My favorite gadget is…. My iPhone 6. 

My favorite travel destination is…. So far London, England but there are so many places I love. Paris, Key West, New Braunsfels, & Amsterdam. 

My favorite clothing brand is… Old Navy

I do all my shopping….  Online. 

My favorite TV shows: All of the Real Housewives on Bravo, The Amazing Race, Scandal,..I could go on for days. #tvjunkie 

My favorite movie: Pretty Woman 

Coffee or tea: Hot coffee or cold tea. 

I love…. My boys, my husband and I love life! 

I dream about.. Being able to completely sustain my family on my salary as a blogger. The sky is the limit right?

What else I do: I freelance for MyMilitarySavings.com, I’m currently a Unilever: Operation in Touch brand ambassador, I host, co-host and serve as a panelist for Twitter parties and I volunteer with the Military community here in Augusta.

Causes I've worked with and made a difference via blogging about: I love to share causes that are near and dear to my heart. Our Military, Autism Awareness, Mexican/ Latin American charities and programs that provide aid for children, Domestic Abuse to name a few. I love that I am one of many voices sharing these causes to grow awareness.
