These mummies are easy to make and can be used for decorations or treat favors. They repurpose toilet paper tubes while bringing smiles to every mummy!

Indeed, the bring the Shel Silverstein poem to life:

Wrapped myself in toilet paper,

head to toe to tummy.
Wrapped myself in toilet paper,
thought that I'd be funny.
Wrapped myself in toilet paper,
thought they'd call me "Mummy".
Wrapped myself in toilet paper,
they just call me dummy.

You will need:

Empty Toilet Paper Tubes

White Crepe Paper

Glue

Wiggly Eyes

Directions:

If using as favor containers, fill the toilet paper tube with candy.

Wrap the crepe paper around the tube lengthwise at least four times.

Glue on two wiggly eyes.

Fold a 24″-36″ strip of crepe paper in half widthwise.

Wrap the folded crepe paper around the toilet paper tube like a mummy.

Too cute for words. My girls have always loved doing craft projects with toilet paper rolls. I can't wait to show them this! They will love it!

These are very cute!! I think they would work great for a child's Halloween party or even a Halloween project that your child's class can do. You can volunteer and help the children make one.
